    As Rockets fans I think we all have some great stuff to look forward to this year. Players with a lot of heart are going to be running hard up and down that floor for Houston.

    Fragile McTalksTooMuch?? I'm sorry but I have no more time for that guy.

    "I was coming back from an injury, and I wasn't healthy enough to play the way that I will be able to play this season," he said. "The difference between my knee last year and this year is night and day."

    This is rich, ridiculous, and really not all that surprising. Par for the course McGrady's MOUTH and not his play is doing all the talking. I want to feel bad for the guy, but I've given up on him ever letting his play do the talking. He just doesn't realize those days are long behind him. His commentary will become fodder for all.

    I'm just saying he looked in better shape when he played for the knicks last season.

    Every year he comes in with less muscle, and more body fat. This guy just doesn't keep up with his body. It's why injuries hit him so hard. He kept on believing he was in great shape, but he really wasn't.

    We'll see how he is. I think he'll be solid, and alright.

    It's interesting that the first part of your post contradicts the second. :)

    I want to see him play first. He was clearly not healthy the last two seasons he also just did too much talking. If he was healthy he would be awesome bargain at 1.3 mil. You guys tend to forget what he did three seasons ago on a bung knee and shoulder.

    do you guys think there is any shred of truth in the doctors of each team as mentioned by T-mac?

    T-mac = bad shape
    Yao = bad shape

    Everyone that goes to PHX = good shape

    you know what I mean?

    So McGrady admits he wasn't in shape last year, when he was demanding that the Rockets give him playing time. Of course we know that already by watching him play in NY.

    And of course,

    McGrady has a lot left, but not as a starter. Am sure every team would sign him if he said he was willing to come back as a bench player. But just like a former Detroit player who wore number 1, he thinks he's too good for the bench

    He looks in good shape and alot better then he did with the Knicks.You need to get you're eyes checked.

    BTWW, it took a young amare 18 months to fully recover at age 24.Tmac is right that last season he was'nt ready or the knee had'nt healed. This season is a different case.
