Its funny how you guys bash this man, out of all the things McGrady has said or done, they are no different then the things that the Lebrons and Kobes and the Chris Pauls have done. Players that have complained to the media that their team sucks, and threatened to demand trades if the roster wasn't improved to their standards. Out of all things at least he never put down his teammates, his fellow Rockets by making those types of outlandish remarks. When in all considering he may have had the right to. But no, you guys wanna hate the man cause he is a competitor...a lil soft...and fragile...Injuries hurt players mentality, any real athletes out here know. He not goin out there like "Man I hope i crack my knees tonight" No he just wants to win, And for all he has done for this City, i just shake my head.........
I would rep if i could.. Sports fans go like this though. Everything good that mac does is no longer taken note of, but everything bad is grabbed and trash talked about. And where there isnt enough bad, they make other things up to feed their story and opinion.
No, you don't understand it. That's right, Kobe demanded a trade but after that God of basketball gave him a gift in Gasol. The thing aboiut Tracy is his big mouth. He will always tell you how good he is, how great shape he is in and how ready and healthly he is. And than he goes on the court, sees that he can't really play and will say: Well, don't expect much. I am still rehhabing and it is not my fault' But this time he got it. Lesson learnt.
Man... how short are the memories of TOF... T-Mac has thrown his teammates under the bus. How can one forget his comments about not being paired with a great big when he had a very healthy Yao for the first few years with the Rockets. How many times have we heard him say it's on me, then point to all the things his teammates did wrong. How about that time when him and Grover were telling anyone willing to listen that T-Mac was done rehabbing and was 100% ready to go and that it was the Rockets holding him back? Remember what happened to T-Mac after in his 8 minutes per game? How about when he went to the Knicks, what happened there? He sure changed his tune fast didn't he? T-Mac is scorned and viewed with disdain not because he never did anything great (he use to be a great player and did a lot of things great), but rather for the things he never did do: - Get us past the first round - Rehab properly the season he ended himself by announcing his season ending surgery to ESPN - Kept his mouth shut. See when other people like Lebron and Kobe talk, they can still walk the walk T-Mac was tolerable to us fans in the early years when his walk still matched his talk. Later, when injuries took their toll on a poorly conditioned body, all T-Mac was left with was just talk. If he was more humble or at least more realistic, he wouldn't be despised so much. Lots of people here hate on Yao for his skills, but how many people actually hate on him the way people trash T-Mac?
Man I hate how people on clutchfans keep posting threads about tmac the guy is gone and people say they don't care about him anymore. This guy used to be my idol and I'm trying to forget he ever existed but everytime I come on here there has to be Tmac threads. Smh
Uh huh. He's already behind Rip and Ben Gordon at the 2. I guess the Pistons are still holding out hope for Stuckey to turn into a star. Prince has the SF position locked down. I forsee another Allen Iverson "I refuse to come off the bench" situation 10-20 games into the season and a leave from the team for "personal reasons". I really hope he proves me wrong and has an awesome comeback season...I'm still a fan. But I wouldn't bet even a twinkie on it, especially with the players already on the Pistons.
