Well maybe not 30 points, but I expect him to play a lot better tonight than he played against Dallas. The main thing for him now is to get his elevation back. He showed he has no problem with driving and hitting free throws. I expect something like 20+ pts with shooting about 45%
I know you're a hater, but I actually feel that would be more realistic, although I think he will shoot better than 60% on his FT's. Jeez, atleast give him some credit for improving on his FT's over the summer.
I'd like to see McGrady bring his FG% back above 45% this season for the first time since early in his career. If Yao shoots 50%, Artest and McGrady around 45%, Scola around 50%, we will have the kind of offense we need to be a contender. You'll get 45% from Barry and Battier. Landry will likely be around 55% this season. Brooks will probably be between 40-45%. As long as Alston limits his shots, we could be an above average offensive team.
T-mac usually plays well / gets up for this team b/c he likes to show up Durant so it wouldn't be surprising...T-Mac may not be healthy but he's not been taking too many bad shots and is actually getting attacking the basket unfortunately he doesn't get superstar calls anymore
Beans, beans the musical fruit The more you eat The better you shoot The better you shoot The more you score Beans, beans, one bowl more
lol@ calling him a hater when he predicted numbers that are actually better than what Tracy has put up so far. Just because we dont worship him doesn't make us haters.
As feigan rightly pointed out, tracy will be mcgrady again after another 8 to 10 games. there bringing him along carefully. there goal is to have there best player and best playoffs performer ready for the playoffs. artest can carry the slack in the meanwhile.. i dont expect a 30 point performance whatsoever. as long as he continues to pass the well and create till he recovers its all good.
That clown with anti sonic ans wekko are well known haters of mcgrady. gets you're facts straight before you act like an internet tough guy.
Just because I'm a fan of his doesn't mean I worship him either, you can't have it one or the other-thats a double standard. Trust me, he may be my favorite player, but I don't give him a free pass on anything. And did you read my post? I just said that his FT's are going to be better than what he predicted, and thats a fact because he has shot over 85% his last three games (including that one preseason game).
I don't really care if T-Mac blows up with a 30pt game. All I care for right now is that he plays the way he needs to for Rockets to get the W, and also for him to improve come playoff time. For the sake of the Celtics game, I would like to see a 20 plus point game from him. If he does score 30, he'll definitely be up for the occasion against Garnett and co.
