Actually I have. I have had surgery to repair a torn ACL and arthroscopic surgery to repair loose particles in my other knee. And I am the same age as TMac.

Keep grasping, DD. You need to blame someone when we are not undefeated...

Great, on your arthoscopic surgery to clear loose particles, how long was your rehab, when did it start, and how long until you felt you had confidence in it enough to play?

I am not grasping, I am telling the truth....tendinitis is not the same as recovery from arthoscopic surgery.

I just hope that the new doctor finds the same situation as the team doctor, if you recall it is the same guy that Tmac got the 2nd opinion from last year that said he could play too.....he had the same diagnosis as the Rockets team doctor.

All you do is bash the Rockets. When T-Mac returns and it gets closer to the play-offs I expect you to shut the **** up and not post after you have been so negative and not ONCE shown any faith in anyone whereing the red and white.

My rehab was 6 months. And I never played basketball or any other sport that required running again due to my knee aching any time that I tried to run for an extended period of time...kind of like a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE might do. And to this day, my knee still bothers me at times.

Keep grasping, big fella. This is getting funny.

Ah, so you have to constantly be positive in posting to be a real fan? Is that it?

I criticize when necessary and praise as well, but of course you only see the negative.

So, you think a real fan should not criticize the players? Just go with the flow, is that it?

All you post is negative. Where were you when T-Mac played through his injured knee and got us over the line against the Wizards? That is exactly why we need T-Mac to go home and rehab. So he can play well consistantly, not stay on the same path for the rest of the season, playing well every third game.

Well, I am sorry for you that your arthoscopic knee never got better, mine was fine at about 3 months.

Let's see what the doctor in Alabama says.....maybe he can shut up the Tmac apologists.

I think he should still be playing, have you not been reading at all?

The doctors said his best rehab is TO PLAY THE GAME and strengthen the knee.

If Tmac is so dedicated to rehab then he should have been doing it all summer.

Why do I bother, whatever....apologize for Tmac.....let's see what the doctors say....?

You do not get my point. Should a player be using games as a form of rehab? He is not playing well enough with his injured knee. It is better for the team, for Tracy to go home and rehab his knee away from the games. It is much better than having T-Mac limping through games.

I'm not a Tmac apologist. There are a lot of things about the guy that bother me as well, but this isn't one of them. You tried to call me out and you failed. You just have no idea what you are talking about on this issue

But I'm sure you'll continue to post like you do...because ALLEGEDLY you had the same surgery. When, might I ask? Because you seem to be in your forties and you don't look like the athletic type based on the pictures you posted last year...

Perhaps...gasp....you don't know what you are talking about

I hear what you are saying, and if that is the case, the team should have someone dedicated to Tmac's rehab, and working his arse out every single day.

But the Sports radio guys were inferring that the organization is worried that Tmac would not do the rehab......which is why they want him to play.

The funny thing about all this is everyone wants a healthy Tmac...all of us....we just don't agree on how he gets there.

I side with the Doctors, and you side with the player......

But at the end of the day, hopefully he comes back healthy...and motivated.

I had the surgery around 9 years ago...., I still play basketball 2 or 3 days a week.....PG....pass first baby, you play with me you get your head on a swivel or the ball will slap you upside it on a cut.....

    :D

I know what I am talking about, you just don't want to listen.....tendinitis is the same as arthoscopic surgery....LOL......wrong.

We are both making generalities arguments...I am saying he should be better based upon the average recovery time for such minor surgeries.

You are saying tendinitis and knee pain can persist.....but neither of us actually knows....

I side with the doctors....you side with the player....

I guess...gasp...neither of us really knows and we are talking opinions on an internet message board...gasp.

And team doctors are always on the side of the player and not the team. wake the f up, DD

They were right on when it came to Grant Hill and the cause of his problems...oh wait...it took 4 years to determine the REAL cause of his problems...and he is fine now...yet everyone called him soft and said he was faking as well for years

EDIT: and if you had sugery on your knee to clear out loose bodies and you were back on the court in 3 months in your 40's, you are full of $hit

And calling me a TMac apologist is as bad as someone calling you a Rockets Hater

The subject at hand is another man's health. How on earth would some dude on the internet presume to have more insight on McGrady's health than McGrady, himself? There is *nothing* worthwhile to say when it is all conjecture. People like you whined about McGrady last year saying that he was dogging it when he was playing with a knee injury that subsequently needed surgery. Now you're going to play dueling injury stories to show that McGrady is just imagining his knee injury because *you* once got over knee surgery? I am sure you resumed your career as a world class athlete...

DD, you make yourself a target around here because you start more knee-jerk threads than anybody, have these weird Don Quixote love affairs with crappy bench fodder and b**** incessantly about the Rockets. It is hard not to have the impression that all of this is more about attention whoring than a "discussion" about the Rockets. The 12 Rafer Alston sucks threads you average a week could be reduced to, say, three and everybody would still get your insight, right?

And I wasn't saying that tendinitis is the same as arthro surgery. Tendinitis is when your knee (or wrist or whatever) is sore due to the tendons not being used to working like you do when you are a professional athelete. My comparison was that Jordan wasn't the same player because he rushed back and dealt with sore knees all season and couldn't get the same lift...and it varied game to game and quarter to quarter. Maybe it was just "mental" with MJ as well

Kind of like a player who comes back from knee surgery and starts playing 35 minutes a night when he might not be ready yet.

But I guess "the knight of right" knows what he is talking about and TMac is just faking it for attention...despite the fact that he doesn't have to be "the man" this season (which is good b/c obviously that isn't working) and we are deeper than we have ever been.

I am looking forward to the scapegoat next season....it's always somebody with you
