Are you even a Rockets fan??? You b**** and moan everyday far more than McGrady. The dude is recovering from surgery that takes 6-9 months to recover from. You act as if you know how his body feel  . Last year the doctors told McGrady he had a bad bruise, he said it felt worse than that... McGrady turned out to be right and needed surgery. The main point for trading for Artest is to have another star when/if Yao or Tracy went down so relax... we are in 1st place not last. I would much rather have Tracy healthy come playoff time than have him lumber along trying to prove his toughness during the regular season. He could have stayed out all along like Shane did but waited until Shane returned so we can still win games. We will be a top 3 seed w/ homecourt w/ our depth. We just need our stars healthy at years end. Trust Tracy not the Rockets doctors...they have gotten it wrong for years now.

Jonathan Feigan just said on Rockets talk on Chron.com that Tmac is out because he is not happy with his level of play.

That it is his decision, and his alone and that the only reason he is sitting is because he is unhappy with his play.

Maybe if he didn't skip training camp and offseason rehab, he would have been in shape and not getting beaten by scrub players.

He is so infuriating.....all that talent and such a weak mind.

Horse CRAP !! Arthoscopic surgery where you remove loose bodies in the knee does not take 6+ months to recover from if you do the rehab as prescribed. Brandon Roy had this same surgery in August...Kobe had it in July last year and played 82 games.

I wish people would stop swallowing TMac's milk shake, the guy is a lazy wuss, period.

Removing loose bodies is a cleanup procedure, most of the time it is optional. And it is so friggen minor it is not even funny.

Are you kidding me? Trust a guy who has failed time and time again to get out of the first round of the playoffs, a guy who chokes more than a fat guy getting the Heimlich manuever?

Tmac should be playing to strengthen his knee, I am convinced he is not because he is out of shape and embarressed and doesn't want to play until he is himself...

Well, when Yao goes down because he is playing too much because Tmac has a boo boo.....I will be pointing a big old I told ya so...right between Tracy McLazy.

Can't remember the last time I've been so confused by the reaction in a thread. Am I missing something here? I thought he was supposed to be out for a while?

from the way tracy has been playing, we should be happy he is out for the time being.

He shut himself down because he didn't like the way he was playing. That is what bothers me, rather than sucking it up and helping the team by doing what he CAN do right now as he works himself into shape, his little ego won't stand him taking a lessor role so he basically decides to sit on his own.

He quit on Orlando, I don't know why I am surprised he is doing it here too.

get over it DD. i think tracy could less care less what we all think.

it doesn't matter what the reason for tracy's absence. the fact of the matter is he didn't look good playing. he went to the basket less and less the more he played and so obviously playing more def. didn't help him get better in terms of becoming his old self.

sometimes what doctors prescribe isn't the best way. different people react differently to different doctors' recommendations. tracy went with the doctors and obviously he felt his knee didn't improve according to plan. that's his judgement. and his play exemplified that.

so if he wants to sit out, let him sit out. a great team shouldn't depend on a single player anyway. and if we're still living and dying by the presence of tracy, we were never a contender to begin with.

Dude to be honest you're beating the dead horse. Kobe quit on Lakers when they were losing. McGrady quit on Orlando because they failed to get some decent players around him.

You can't be this bias can you, I'm pretty sure you said you wanted him to sit out instead of out there "hurting" the team. It's ok to hate a player, it's not when you claim you're just being a fan. Of course we aren't cheerleaders, but we're not college b****es as well.

If his return doesn't spark something similar like Ginobli's return, then we got a problem.

Well, it all adds up, I guess. Both the fans and the team, it's a vicious cycle.

    Lols

DD you were convinced that certain ex players on this team were the best too.

Your convictions suck balls and I hope it stays that way too.

See DaDa instead of hanging on T-Mac's nut hair you could just watch this team playing beautifully without him. He'll come back whenever he is ready. Just watch this team dominate the Spurs sans McGrady because we're that damn good.

I understand McGrady's importance to this team as well and I say let him get his rest. Better now than later
