I am stuck with the Rockets been a fan since the 1972-73 season probably longer than you have been alive.......but people who blame the fans have no clue.....none.

It is not the fans responsibility to get excited, it is the players responsibility to give them something to get excited about.

Unless they win a Championship, I think your prediction is probably accurate.

Why wait. Let's trade the Big 2 1/2 and clearn some cap space for Lebron and Bosh. :)

I don't think that is going to happen, if the team falls too far back of the number 2 or 3 seed they won't be a real contender.

People say the regular season is not important....only once in NBA history has a team without homecourt in any series won a championship.....ONCE....

That was the Rockets 2nd championship but it is highly unlikely....Homecourt matters....a lot.

if the course continues on the same path as it has been, 2010 is the year, not 2009. we're stuck with this team next year too.

however, in 2010, tracy will be let go b/c we're not gonna resign him i don't think unless we win. even if we do, he's not going to get anymore than $8-10 mil.

yao is not going to get a max contract either (esp. seeing how his game has declined). he'll probably still be paid around $10-12 mil if he wants to stay here.

we'll use the cap-space from tracy and spend on a potential superstar that is available in 2010 and rebuild around that guy (preferably chris bosh :D or even amare, who wants to leave phoenix most likely).

we'll see. we're stuck with this team until next year. might as well stick with them and see what happens. no need to make irrational trade demands when we know trades will never happen.

Well this is something I didn't won't to hear, but if Tracy thinks this will help him get healthy I'm all for it.

Its time for Ron and Yao to step up big time and get us some wins becasue we need them.

yes he does. sacrifice a few games, and TEACH Brooks how to be PG1. I could care less if it possibly means that our regular season record is 3 games worse- as long as we are better equipped for the playoffs.

if we lose these next 2 games, this team is in trouble. why? b/c it still shows we still don't know how to win ballgames v. decent teams consistently without tracy.

it's time for yao to show what's he made of, and it's time for ron to stop sucking. fans have let him slide b/c he plays with effort. but rafer plays with effort too. when you suck, you suck. ron has sucked offensively.

You whats ironic? You all call out Tmac for missing a game with a still-banged up knee; yet isn't a fact now that was playing on a bad knee and shoulder for most of last season, particularly during that 22 game win streak?

Although as a fan who pays to see him and the Rockets dominate like they should -when HEALTHY!!-I can definitely understand your frustration. Lets not get too carried away directing all of your frustrations at one player though.

Yao has vastly underachieved so far this year and especially Ron Artest who has been disappointing too.

But lets look on the bright side- THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER!
Tmac can only get healthier-its only a matter when and the timeliness of his return too.
If Yao can return to his dominant form like during the early part of last year where he was DEMANDING the ball in the low post we will be much better with him as the focus instead, but sadly, I just don't think Ron can be a go to guy out in the perimeter when he's forced to create his own shot. His game is using his strength and getting open looks (which is why I said Yao must be the first option).

what i want to see is what happened last yr. though we aren't facing the knicks and wolves (worst teams) frequently like we did last yr when tracy was out, i want to see this team gel without him (offensively). therefore, when tracy returns, he just has to blend in and dominate like he did last yr.

we gotta show we can win without tracy.

Yea Ron is the player I'll be looking at the most tonight to see how he plays when hes the second option. He needs to go to the rim and make his damn lay ups or try to do dunk the ball or something.

Yao will need to play BIG too. He needs to play the way he did at the start of 06-07 when he was putting up MVP type number before he went down. If Yao and Ron can get it together I think we can be find without Tracy for a while and sill get the number 2 seed, becasue no one in the west is really playing that great but the Lakers.

hey i have a trade idea first its a fantasy one that wont happen but if it did there would be no more problems at the point... alston, head, and hayes, for mike bibby??? salaries match if only the hawks wanted this trade.... or we can go young and trade head for crittenton... or head for marcus williams who wants out of golden state and has potential to fill the pg duties... and if you want a backup for yao you can simply trade alston for stromile swift... now i know he didnt play good when he was here but remember he never played with yao or t-mac a lot cause both were injured most of the season but for some reason the thought of swift, landry, artest, barry, and if they would give francis a chance sounds like a very deep bench..... now i kno once were healthy the line-up would be yao, scola, battier, t-mac, and marcus williams if aquired.... the bench would be swift, landry, artest would come off the bench but would finish games.. barry and brooks... and i still have confidence in francis returning hes bac practicing so jus remember last year on one leg and outta shape he played good against denver and against the suns u saw flashes of the franchise if he was healthy last season i bet alston wouldnt be here no offense to alston but if you were only consistent we would be great... francis still got it thats why morey said hes still in the rockets plans its jus up 2 adelman 2 let him play i mean if battier was out a month and right bac in why not give francis a shot?? by the way i know this is about the t-mac out the next 2 days but pretty soon hes gonna shut it down if his knee doesnt show progress....well let me know wat u think guys jus a thought

lol this is very funny, I could of sworn that most of this board said if T-mac was going to be out there playing slow then he should just sit out and the offense will look a whole lot better without him anyway.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO T-mac sits out and the script is flipped and people are now complaining and coming up with lil cute kindergarten nicknames for T-mac.
