Cool. Further proof that Weisbrod is a freakin' lying, manipulating scumbag.

    Associated Press
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Dwight Howard believes he's what Tracy McGrady needs to be successful in Orlando.

McGrady has told the Magic he wants a trade to a contender, preferably one with a quality big man. But Howard, the prep sensation selected first in the NBA draft, wants the disgruntled superstar to know that help is on the way.

"Tracy, I hope that you stay and play with me a couple of years," Howard said Thursday night from New York. "I think we'll be a really good combo."

In a draft without a clear No. 1, the Magic went with the promising 18-year-old Howard over the more seasoned Emeka Okafor, who led Connecticut to a national title. Howard became the third high schooler taken first in the NBA draft since 2001.

Sounds good to me Will....Player's Union will always get it's way though.

I think Steve talking to Nick Van Exel and Sam Cassell helped...maybe they told him their clothing line is available in Orlando?

    Weisbrod on espn radio:

"Houston deal one of two or three deals"

"Francis certainly not meeting with owner (but he can come to Orl this weekend if he wants)"

"Will talk to Francis's agent tonight and feel good about Francis coming here"

    "We might not trade TMac"

    What an idiot.

Weisbrod was just on the radio with ESPN draft crew and said the following:

1: Steve Francis will not be meeting with Orlando owner Rich Devos as previously reported.

2: Orlando will be talking to Steve's agents tonight, and see can get over emotion of Houston situation.

3: Weisbrod feels that Steve is his kind of guy and will buy into what they are trying to do in Orlando.

4: Orlando has 3-4 deals for Tracy

So he in more way than one said that Houston is in the drivers seat, but Orlando still has options. This guy sounded so damn nervous on the radio, he's way in over his head.

It's pretty apparent that this Wise(ass)brod is an amateur. He's playing games and getting exposed as clueless. If I own the Magic, this guy has worked himself out of a job when this is over.

    Bring on TMac.

I just watched Van Gundy talking about the McGrady deal on the draft show. No news, but all his verbs about Francis, Mobley, and Cato were in the past tense.

It's said channel 2 in Orlando reported the Pacer's deal.
Bird and Walsh will come to Orlando tomorrow.
