    it seems so but since orlando has the #1 pick the magic want to focus on the draft and the the next day or two focus on welcoming in the #1 pick to orlando and then deal with any trades. i also think it may be a way to try further convince mcgrady to stay in orlando given a chance to interact with the new rookie

    I couldn't believe it. Why just when we think things are over the hump we get more doubt! Maybe that's just another smoke screen.

    But what it tells me is that the Magic don't want to move Francis to a 3rd team. It says they either want him with the trade or the trade is off.

    Fortunately DA said that Francis seems cool with everything. I guess the only thing that could hurt us now is if Orlando Management while Francis is down there does something to piss him off.

    Whatever the case, once again we have a dark cloud hanging over this deal. Something that wasn't there earlier when Jim Gray filed his report.

    I don't think DA's comment was that big of a deal. Remember, the only thing that ESPN has to keep people watching this draft is the trade hype.

    I also think this means that Orlando wants Steve badly. Orlando's going to be on their best behavior, because if Steve freaks out, the options get a lot worse.

    That's the way it appears. Orlando either wants the star potential of Francis or no deal. I hate the fact things hinge on that.

    On the other hand, perhaps DA got fed that line about the Suns just as a smoke screen, not to make others think that Houston holds all the cards.

    I don't either. Big deal Orlando has a contigency plan to trade their superstar if something happens this weekend. All indications the last 2 days point accepting a roster spot on the magic.
