Well it's only 40+ pages depending on how many replies you have per page. I have the maximum 40 replies per page so the thread is 33 pages long for me.

Weisbrod looks more and more like he's in way over his head. CD and the other GM's must be ROTFLTAO. Surely Weisbrod doesn't think his act is fooling fellow GM's. He's not even fooling most fans...at least not at ClutchFans. It's kind of sad really that the Magic promoted him to GM at such a critical time in their history. What a boob.

Screw the Magic

They are like "pimpin' us" with these silly games they play. If I were CD, I'd have every reason to take the whole deal off the table and let them sit with all the lesser offers available out there. Playing hardball is honorable. Scuffing a ball is NOT. And that's what Weisbrod is doing as we speak. What kind of nonsense is this to be entertaining new bids through the 11th hour of this draft? A handshake, verbal "agreement" or a gentlemen's agreement of sorts is a binding CONTRACT. Moreover, it's the RIGHT THING TO DO when it comes to doing business honorably. This Joker is playing us for fools and we should just let me eat his words by keeping T-Mac.

As other GMs get rosy-eyed by this whole T-Mac sweepstakes, the objective truth is that there IS A LIMIT whereby the price is just TOO MUCH. To conveniently forget the risks associated with this group of players is the least business-minded thing a GM can do. We don't have to play these silly games b/c our players HAVE trade value. Cato, Mobes, and SF each have enough trade value to warrant better deals should they be traded. Think Ray Allen. Think Steve Nash free agency. Players are a dime a dozen and we should stop dealing with the Devil in Mickeyland. (And no, I"m not referring to Eisner.)

Do you blame Steve for not wanting to play for an organization as corrupt as this??? I sure don't.

Quite Honestly, Is There Really a Better Offer Out There?

Look at who else are "serious contenders" in this T-Mac sweepstakes. The Phoenix Suns and the Indiana Pacers.

The Phoenix Suns are synonymous with futility. They're own player personnel decision rival Orlando as the worst in league history. And after so many years of proclaiming Marion as their big time franchise player, they are looking to use him as fodder in their quest for T-Mac. In the meantime, they went from a first round playoff contender at the Rockets expense to being back in the lottery. Sooner or later, you'd think the PHX fans would sense the stupidity in the front office. Meanwhile, the Pacers are incredibly trigger happy to me in risking the core of their team for this one guy. You'd think the Pacers were rebuilding or something given all they had to offer (e.g. Artest) for McGrady. Heck, if Artest is up for sale and the Pacers want more offense - take Mobes.

Point is, these two other franchises are STAGNATING. We, the Rox, are on our way up and that's why folks want to come HERE and not the other way around. Despite all this 11th hour nears, we're negotiating from a position of STRENGTH, not weakness To forget this fact is to succumb to this arrogant idiot from Mickeyland whom I'll refer to as ViceFraud for now.

CD, LA, If you're reading this. Please, DONT GIVE IN TO PUBLIC PRESSURE in dealing with VICEFRAUD. It ain't worth it. Make the right BUSINESS decision and end the talks.
