    This trade is really turning out huge in Orlando's favor. ESPN says we are giving up SF, Cat, Cato, and Nachbar for McGrady, Howard, Lue, and DeClerq. WTF?

    Oh.. I agree. But I'm trying to make sense of this. The Rockets and Orlando are waiting for the expansion draft before they finalize the deal. Juwon Howard and Lue, who are involved in the trade, are not on Orlando's E-draft list. Reece Gaines, Stevenson, and some foriegn dude, are on their E-draft list. a previous poster, who I assume is in Orlando, is hearing the Rockets want to include Reece Gaines in the deal. Now there's this SF article that says Nachbar may be part of the deal. So I'm thinking if the Rockets are waiting on Reece Gaines to be included in the deal it is because they are including Boki in the trade,,, unfortunately. I'm just putting two and two together. I hope I'm wrong.

    Anyone here dont want to see the lakers break up. I was looking forward to a Kobe & Shaq Vs Tmac & Yao. Thats the two biggest match ups smashed into one.

    The foreign dude is ZaZa Pachulia, the same 20-year-old center who ate our lunch in one of the Magic-Rocket games last season. He is far, far more talented with far, far more potential than DeClercq.

    No because later on in a different thread he said that we were getting Howard in the deal. Not Juwan Howard but Dwight Howard!!! Then everybody started tuning him out because he is obviously a lunatic.

    Dude, y'all need to get Avant. You can set any web page to auto refresh every 10 or 30 seconds as well as 1, 2, 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

    Rumor has it that Charlotte is holding Orlando hostage, threatening to take Howard in the expansion draft unless Orlando GIVES them the #1. That puts Orlando in a bind. Best chance is to act like the deal is off so that the Bobcats don't take Howard, but then go through with the trade anyway, at a later date.

    Man, we end up w/ Orlando's trash except for McGrady. We should of got Gooden and Gaines instead of Lue and Howard. Why does this look like we end up giving up a lot and get back 1 good player and bunch of crap w/ him?

    Because thats what its starting to look like.

    Francis/Cat/Cato for T-Mac/Howard/DeClerq or Lue sounds just fine with me. No need to include Bostjan in this, unless we are getting Gooden out of it.

    seems to me Orlando could call the bluff, say f off to the Bobcats, then rework the deal with Houston or go with one of the 10 or so other Tmac suitors and pick their best deal. Then the bobcats would be stuck with a big contract eating up a large portion of their reduced cap.

    i swear if we lose Boki, that's it. I think everyone was wary of trading Francis, Cat and Cato, but when you freakin add our only draft pick (practically because boki never got PT), it's too much. Forget T-Mac if that is the case, because i don't want no Lue or Gaines or anyone else for nachbar.

    The Bobcats aren't that stupid. Now, maybe they would want a swap of the #1 and #2, but I can't imagine them demanding the #1 straight up. Even so, why would they take a player just to spite a team? That sounds hoky to me.

    Orlando may want Nachbar. If the deal is Francis/Mobley/Cato/Nachbar for McGrady/Howard/DeClerq/Lue, you still have to do it. Boki shouldn't be a deal killer. For JVG, that might be enough at the PG, but it sure leaves them thin at 2 and 3, especially since Pike is gone.

    That means we'll have 2 backup point guards to start at PG and our only 2/3's will be McGrady, JJ and Adrian Griffin. Yikes.
