    this is ridiculous. Regardless of how this turns out, if Francis refused to play for another team i will have lost just about all the respect i had for the guy

    Uhh... if that's true, that sounds like a pretty good deal just between Houston and Chicago.

    Sure we don't get the name-guy in T-Mac, but we get a young blossoming PG, a younger blossoming 7'0 PF, and a defensive stopper in Jerome Williams.

    It's true, Francis SHOULD want to play. And I want to play. I would so be happy for him and that whole team in that position. I mean they'd be stacked, and stacked with players I respect:

    PG - Francis
    SG - Cat
    SF - Hill
    PF - Okafor
    C - Cato

    That's easily a top of the line Eastern team. I'd wish them the best of luck... except against us. Don't mess it up Steve. For YOUR sake and ours.

    Stephen Smith on PTI says he talked to GM at Orlando and that nothing is imminent...he has talked to Houston but a lot of other teams...

    i think you missed it. The rockets would still get Tmac and that trade would go down as planned. Then Orlando would turn around and ship Steve to Chicago for those players.

    I always said on this board that Steve should be shipped for Hinrich & Chandler (plus cap fillers). Up front, you lose talent in that deal but you fill needs. Plus, maybe Chandler develops some offense.
    But I thought that Chicago was in love with Hinrich?

    You are a hippocrit then. Tmac doesn't want to play for orlando, but you love him. SF would much rather play with his current team and you lose respect for him?

    Wouldn't it be nice to get T-Mac + the #1 for Steve, Mobley & Cato?

    I think if it's a 3-way deal, though, you gotta look at someone like Boston. We send our flock to Boston, Paul Pierce (+?) go to Orlando, T-Mac (+?) to H-town.

    The damage is already done! He already has voice his displeasure and I am sure the Orlando GM knows it. That means Orlando is not going to want to trade for him. We need a 3rd team desperately to send Francis to and then send good players to Orlando.
