"I'm not sure what to think now. If that's the case (he's not in Houston's plans), why play me seven minutes? If they want to showcase me (for a trade), give me 15-20 minutes,'' he said. "This is a contract season for me. I have to think about that as well.'' I don't think he never said that. In the following interview: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UJ49M223kkI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UJ49M223kkI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I told you so that he would eventually let it be known his way that he did not like playing 7-8 minutes per game. TMac maybe dealt sooner than later. The Team needs to get TMac out of H-Town. Goodluck with your new Team TMac it was fun and thanks.
Tracy McGrady for Michael Redd + Kurt Thomas Michael Redd is every bit as broken down as Tracy McGrady, but Kurt Thomas is what makes me want to do the deal. Solid body down low, would be incredibly helpful to have the following seasons to backup Yao. Michael Redd is a solid shooter that can move without the ball. What say you?
I have a feeling that none of that **** that was posted was said... they are obviously trying to instigate in this situation..
just rewatched clutch's youtube. either fanhouse added in some things, or FSN didn't air the entire interview.
I hope not. I'm predicting this trade deadline to be a fizzer, with teams holding onto their assets for draft night/free agency, instead of the speculated mass salary dumping. However if the Suns fall out of the playoffs and because of the housing market collapse in Phoenix... Things could get spectacular.
Word Up! I heard he wasn't playing great defense. kinda like waving his hands in the air like he doesn't care defenders glide by tmac while he starts to look and stare Seems like he and his cousin Vince Carter had some kind of reunion romance we don't have time for psychological romance
Interesting to compare the above quote from Fanhouse with the one I found below in Jason Friedman's article at Rockets.com, which portrays a kinder, gentler T-Mac. Same post-game interview, different interpretation?
look if people criticize tracy over nothing, amare could be just as bad. he had a "jamario moon" moment v. the cavs a few nights ago when lebron was at the 3pt line attacking and dunked, while amare was waiting at the basket and yet didn't even contest the dunk. but again, the bulls really suck right now so they could be desperate for some change since they still want to make the playoffs this year.
i dont know, i was thinking the same thing about the interview, it just doesnt make since after watching the interview to hear what was reported in the interview after you heard and watched what he said. Idk....something aint adding up
Probably two separate interviews to two different reporters, but with T-Mac saying the same thing to reinforce his point. The kicker is the similar language in both quotes: "Whoever gets me..." I think it's a pretty safe bet that T-Mac's going to be gone before the trade deadline.
i wouldnt believe fanhouse for the simple fact that that article has quotes from other articles/interviews, from different times all jumbled up (notice how it jumps around with quotes ranging from pre game, post game, and from earlier in the month) and the whole thing seems to be organized to indicate tmac tmac is done with houston for the most part and has an eye on Orlando.
it was already a pretty safe bet before this interview, unless you have been living in a rock. everyone and their moms knows the team is trying to trade tmac.
