You know a Mcgrady deal that could get us Camby and Davis is interesting. Maybe it would open up another move at pg. I would hate to lose Brooks or Lowry but I know Im delusional as I over-rate them as a fan. I'm sure there is a upgrade out there.

This move is a blessing for the rockets. We should expect to see the rate of injuries cut down significantly once his ass is gone.

    I’ll take that~!

Landry is a warrior (no pun intended) but Randolph is younger, more athletic and has nice mid range shot. Yes he play recklessly most of the time, but hopefully that will change after a year a two of maturing.

Bidrins would be a great C for us now and an excellent back up next year.

And we get the best player of the deal in Ellis!

I’m living in the Bay Area right now so I do get to watch a lot of Warriors game, now I can think the Warriors team as half of a Rockets team, making liking them as my sub-team away from home easier!

If you think the Tmac situation is ugly now, wait till after the trade deadline if he is still on the roster but not playing. It isn't a viable option anymore, keeping Tmac has now become impossible.

Hmmm that would be a big commitment.

i was thinking the same thing. but if the latest development has let the rockets be willing to lower their asking price a bit, then a trade could come sooner... there is a possibility imo.

Just by you saying this im glad your not the g.m. Within the next couple of days there are going to be outrageous trades from members that have no chance of happening.

And so the Rockets were forced to trade Tracy McGrady.
    And there was much rejoicing.

    Yaaaaaayyyyyy.

even if a trade comes tomorrow, i don't expect the drama to end soon.

wait until he opens his month and "comment" on his former team - the houston rockets, after being traded.

Good, let's just get the drama over.

I just hope that we can get a good player in return (either this season, or just get a good FA next season), and that we don't give up any of those players already on this team who are making this team a joy to watch.

If you don't trade him for a promising player, you look for other expirings. If neither is possible and you don't think you can keep him away from the team, you buy him out.

The Rockets weren't going to be able to do much in Free Agency next year so if they can get ONE player they like at about 9-12 mil for a few more years, plus filler contracts, hopefully expiring or short, it would be just like signing a FA next year.

Baron Davis would never cross the mind of Darryl Morey.
