    k.

i am just glad to see that a closure is coming. it is good for the team, and this board.

as to who can we trade for, it's all up to morey and our luck. we as fans all have our favorite trade deals in mind all the time, but these don' really matter. so i don't put up things like we should go for this trade or that trade, i'd go for a comment and discussion session after the trade is done on this board.

(p.s. - no arenas by any means.)

Thoroughly predictable after watching the melodrama of the last several days. Clutch, as usual, is proven right. The only thing remaining is seeing what we can get for the guy and what we have to give up. I'll be pissed off if we have to part with a valuable piece of the most enjoyable Rockets team to watch in many years. It was too much to expect McGrady to keep his mouth shut and let things quietly play out. That was predictable as well, and a big part of why he is on his way out of Houston.

Adios, and let the door hit you on your way out. Hard.

If they haven't got anything for him yet what changes the situation?

It is highly unlikely that the Rockets will be able to get a max type player this off-season with so many teams having large amounts of cap space.

I'm a fan of T-mac, but I'm just glad this situation is going to be resolved soon.

That's why Morey is refusing a buyout. If a good offer comes along, it'll be at the trade deadline.

I'm so happy now. Good for him.. Houston doesn't deserve him. I hope they trade him and he haunts them. The way the organization handled this was very poorly.

Yeah he had a bad season but the man busted his *** off to try hard and come back to play. All because he ask for more mins now yall want to trade him. Get out of here. Dumb egos. Yeah he was a nut case but who on this team is better than him??? Im sure someone will give a dumb answer but this is not the way to handle things.

Yeah its a business but there are ways you handle situation.

    Peace out homie

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Heres my Pref.

    1. I like the GS trade if and only if we got Monta Ellis.

    2. I would only do a Pacers trade if Troy Murphy was involved.

    3. Kevin Martin would be great if the Kings would do it.

    4. Chi would have to give up Salmons.

    5. I wouldnt be too thrilled about a Jermaine trade with MIA.

    6. I would be pissed about any NY deal.

It's true there will be a lot of teams with space, but most aren't nearly as good as the Rockets are.

Christmas came late this year! Please take all other TOF's with you, it's absolutely sickening reading a Rockets fan forum where a good chunk of the posters aren't even rooting for the best interests of the team.

i'd be really shocked if this is resolved soon. It's been no secret that the rockets have been shopping mcgrady, but they also value his expiring contract, especially with how well the team is playing right now.

I don't see what an admission from the rox or mcg does to change the offers that are coming in, every gm in the league already knew he was available.

I'm of the line that McG will rot on the inactive list all season and the cryptic "this will not end well" messages will come to fruition as McG flings poo from a Chicago balcony

don't let tmac's non-jumping whiff of an attempt at a blocked shot hit you on the way out. sorry. i didn't mean that. you should stay. tmac will be back visiting with his new team.

That's why he'll continue to be linked with McGrady in trade spec until McGrady is traded.
