I would trade Battier and /or Scola before I would Landy.
Landry is one of our main building blocks for the next five years!! :p

Exactly what I have been saying. There's no way GS would give up their young core just for cap relief. I think we would have a much better shot to pounce on the Kings.

    Rockets get:
    K-Mart
    Jason Thompson
    Andres Nocioni
    Kenny Thomas

    Kings get:
    T-Mac
    Scola :(
    Battier :(
    Jermaine Taylor
    Future draft pick(s)

I think Alan Hahn is the Knicks version of Feigen.

Couldn't agree with you more about the Knicks. They have nothing that interests me....besides that David Lee feller..but we're set at PF! And he's not a true center.

The dude has skills, no doubt about it, but like Kevin Martin, another player from that team that, when healthy, would be a great fit in Adelman's offense, he's injury prone. Do we really need to go down that road again?

Give me a player with a history like Luis Scola, who has to be bleeding like a stuck pig to get out of a game, and then refuses to not play the next one. Carl Landry is in a similar mold, although he's had worse luck with injuries. We need players without a "history." Been there, done that.

(and god save us from having to look at AK47's ugly mug in a Rockets uniform!!)

Cavs would easily take McGrady, they actually showed interest earlier.

Why do we have to trade him? What's so bad about deepwood aging him on some fine yellow pine and picking up a moneyballer/under the radar type player with the change? Hell, I'd rather even jump on the Rudy Gay bandwagon again. We could have him for around 12 mil.

Why? He and LeBron play almost exactly the same way. Both need the ball in their hands, both are most effective seeing the court and making something happen off a PnR or whatever the case may be. McGrady playing off the ball is something he's generally not considered to be capable of hence one of the main fundamental differences between he and Adelman.

    Injury prone - Check
No Defense - Check (Good Flopper thought)
    Loser - Double Check
    Bad 3point Shooter -Check
Black Hole - Check - Shoot first, shoot second, shoot third.

Why is everybody stuck on dealing with Golden State? Randolph is the exact same player that Stromile Swift was. He will never be anything more than a backup player.

A lot of talk that he will probably go to a ****t team. But I actually think a top contender somehow makes a play for him, thinking he could be the missing piece for them. But not the guy, because they already have that.

I could actallu stomach AK47, but only because he seems to hate the Jazz nearly as much as me.

This is not a win-win solution for both parties. To trade TMac, we have to take some trash contract which is not what fans want to see. For TMac, a lot of uncertainty is ahead of him. Both sides should cool down, find a better way to work this out. Please don't end like this.

This sucks. big time. I still believe in McGrady; I want him to be a Rocket.

One thing that really sucks about this is his trade value is probably pretty low, and I think there's more potential with him than with whoever they get for him in a trade.

I think the Rockets will probably regret letting him go. I bet he has a lot left.

How does that contending team get McGrady without gutting the nucleus of their contending team thus making it a non-contender?

Look at the team's out there contending. They would have to give up 2 or 3 of their five best players to make the salaries work. No one is going to do that.
