We better not just give him away for nothing. I hope Morey can work his magic with this trade.

You'd be suprised what a lot of teams would do for cap relief, especially in this economy. Gasol to the Lakers ring a bell?

And you want guy who don't stop the ball movement and play defense.

    OMG what a flip flop.

Maggette scores efficiently and aggressively. Offensively, he is nothing like McGrady was.

I agree. Carl and Yao in the paint is something I want to see in the future.

Maggette plays OFF the ball and scores very efficiently he would fit this offense like a glove......

No flipping...I have wanted him for 2 years, but to make it palatible to fans here he would be considered the poison pill.

My god, that almost makes me physically ill. How someone can watch that and still be a fan of this man is beyond me. He is trash and good riddance to him, I just hope he nets a decent profit and management does not feel forced to make a less than perfect deal just to accommodate this fool. We get our deal, they get their cap relief; otherwise he sits and walks after the season.

This has played out like a hand of poker. T-Mac manipulates the media to get his point across to the organization:

MAC - dress out before MRI date (play me!) [BET]

ROX - wait until MRI, then we'll see (no.) [RAISE]

MAC - speech about how neato it would be to live in Cousin Vinny's pool house and play in Orlando, or anywhere, 'cuz "I'm so hungry" (play me more!!) [RE-RAISE]

ROX - do something with the minutes we give you and earn your way back into the mix by playing team ball according to the new philosophy (no.) [RE-RAISE]

MAC - trade me (this isn't Brooks/Landry's team, it's MY team now let me shoot 25 shots in 30 minutes and not play defense!!!) *[ALL IN]*

    ROX - *[CALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!]*

    players show hands:

    MAC has 72 offsuit
    ROX has aces

    board reads:

    AAKQJ

    Game over.

Me-Mac, I hold my Budweiser in remembrance. Wait, I ordered a Heineken.

    Damn you Tracy!!!!

Personally, I'd love to get Randolph. He's young, but in the right situation, I think he can grow, he's got such upside.

This is probably for the best, for both sides. This way Tmac gets a fair chance at being himself again. And the Rockets org. gets what they have wanted for a long time now. To not have TMac on the team.

They have the stink of Jazz on them.....and I DON'T want to help that franchise.

If I can somehow get past that and look at it without bias ?

Honestly, I think we will get more.....

Even so, AK can play the 4 - 5 providing defense and boards/ and is expiring after next.... He IS injury prone

Yes Okur will rain threes and backup Yao.

It gives us versatility and we add a shotblocker, but AK has to stay healthy next year........

I see where you're coming from DaDa and it makes sense on many levels.

How much is AK47 making ?

Lots of people are suggesting T-Mac for Jermaine O'Neal since they have matching one year contracts. The only problem is they don't have any other centers so I'd like to suggest T-Mac for Shaq. Cleveland has other centers and Shaq has not lived up to what was expected of him in Cleveland and has a matching expiring contract. Maybe Cleveland would consider and that would rid us of T-Mac and give us a big boy down low. Don't say that Shaq wouldn't be able to play in our offense cause he was able to run in Phoenix's offense and average 18pts and 8rebs.
