The more I think about it, the more it looks like Artest may be more than the third scorer, he is TMac's back up, insurance in case TMac rolls to the curb.

Im not worried at all. He's had shoulder surgery, so in theory it should in better shape than last season. It's bothering him some, but IMO not as much as last year. The only thing that bothered me is him saying it to reporters. As soon as I heard it on the radio I knew people where going to start freaking out. I doubt management is even concerned about it.

    Is this the likely roster?

    C Y Ming / D Mutombo / J Dorsey
    PF L Scola / C Landry / C Hayes
    SF R Artest / S Battier / M Harris
    SG T McGrady / B Barry / L Head
    PG R Alston / S Francis / A Brooks

Thats what Ive been thinking. He was dealing with it during the past year and its probably better than last season. With Phillip talking about lowering Kobe's playing time a bit, I bet Rick does the same with T-Mac. We can afford to do that early in the season with our team. The more I think about the less I'm worried.

McGrady is already making excuses if the Rockets don't get past the 1st round of the playoffs. It shows he isn't a team leader. I guess he doesn't know the art of lying.

Well we have some good news about Tracy's health. After careful start of teh training camp he has gone through 3 full practices in a row. And he said he felt very good and he is getting stronger every day. That is a great news, looks like knee is feeling a lot better and it really should be 100% by the start of the season.

Exactly. the haters here like cto exaggerate everything tracy does. tracy is clearly our best player. if we have any chance of wining a title anytime soon, he has to be fit. i allways said, if his knee is fine, the shoulder is not an issue. the knee was what really slowed him down.

I agree with that. Yao is a big part of this team but without healthly T-Mac we ain't going nowhere.

Good to hear his knee is getting better every day...
