yao is not going to get a max contract unless he averages 20+, 10+, stay healthy this entire year AND next year.

if he stays healthy for both year and put up the stats, he'll get a max.

Huh? You're making my point but you do not understand you are.

You're saying what I'm saying. The Organization has to choose between Yao and Adelman. One has to go, but both cannot stay.

If the Rockets decide to go for a smaller, quicker style of play, then they will let Yao go, and Yao will sign somewhere else.

But if the Rockets believe Yao is their franchise player, then Adelman should be fired, soon. Yao should exert his influence if he has any, to make that happen.

I think Yao needs a coach who he can trust, and will maximize his style of play.

I wonder when we'll hear something about Tracy...I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared to hear this one. Dr. Andrews is like a 18 month death sentence to the DL.

my point was Rockets team >> Yao. Les does not need to care which coach is good for Yao, he is all about the team. Les is the one who spent the money on Rick for his team, not for Yao. Yao did not contribute a penny to coach's salary, he has no say when the coach does not like to pad his stats.

"that coach is not good for me, I wanna go"<---- it sounds stupid and classless.

Well, you think about it. Yao and T-mac make >50% of the Payroll.

Therefore, what is GOOD for the Team = what is GOOD for Yao and T-Mac.

If you have two pissed off players in Yao and T-Mac, and I believe that to be the case, then 50+ % of your payroll is unhappy with the Coach. therefore, the TEAM is unhappy with the coach. because these two guys make the MAJORITY of the payroll. Got it?

According to this logic, Marbury is very pissed off in New York. Curry is also pissed off... Are they going to fire their coach or their players?

who cares if your are happy or not when you are a bad fit to the team, a liability in the 4th quarter, can never pass the first round, were dominated by Okur and even can not play a full season after the max contract was in the pocket. Now he is going to choose which coach is better for him? classless.

Lakers can ship out Shaq, I don't think Rockets have to stick to a pissed off anyone.

Good to hear, now Tracy will finally realize its all mental and come out strong. I know how he feels. He just doesn't trust the medical staff here. Couple seasons ago he went to the magician in Waco and came back never suffering a back injury again. Tmac will come back stronger and rejuvenated. He will know that his knee can't get any worse and he just needs to strengthen it. Trust me right now he is probably so relieved that its not further damage. Good to hear, now our real season begins

it is 90% mental at this stage with him. i think with all the injuries that he has gone through, he has let every one of them seeped into his mind and the pessimism just takes over.

remember, the back doctor said that tracy is the most pessimistic person when it comes to his health.

hopefully with this 2nd option, he can have a peace of mind and just get on with it already. i'm not in his position where i'm injured all the time and always thinking that injury may destroy my career, but i truly do hope tracy can get over it.

he's extremely fragile mentally when it comes to this issue. hopefully he'll get over this hurdle and start dominating once again.

When he came back from the Waco doctor, he had a stretch of 6 straight 30 point games. He can arguably be the best player in the NBA when his head is on straight. He has gone through so much injuries, that it gets to his head. He thinks the injury can always be too serious and he worries about his body. Now that he has had a second opinion, I think he will be more relaxed and come back stronger then ever. When he is relaxed mentally, the dude has the potential to be top 5 player in the league

Just watched nba tv, they said the same thing. In addition, Brent Barry will miss two weeks.

At least Tmac can believe in himself again.....and that is 90% of the issue.

Dr Andrews has spoken.....TMac...get to work !!!

This is good news, hopefully T-Mac can come back with more confidence now. I can't wait to see how he responds on the court.

hopefully so. as much as i love the dude, he really is pessimistic in regards to his injuries (and probably rightfully so). everytime he gets injured in a major way, he gets really down on himself.

hopefully this will give him the belief again. all we want is a tracy with a swagger b/c that tracy is a very dangerous player.

Yeah, maybe now he will feel the confidence. If he has to get that week than ok. But hopefully he will do some of his rehab.

Maybe now it is finally that time when Tracy understands nothing's wrong with his knee. It only needs to get stronger and it will get while playing.
