Poor Vince! Poor Tracy! Both were knocked down by Deke twice. Does Deke has some problems with this family? Are you telling me in that night, Deke single-handedly wacked the whole team??
That was the worst writing ever on the Sura report. Does this guy think that we will read that Sura has had a setback and not wonder how bad of a setback it was or perhaps how long this setback will last. get it together damien pierce, you have a pretty sweet job.
Why is Yao Ming on the list? Plus, Lebron also got hurt last season, right? He also made the damage to T-MAC last season after T-MAC collided with him. Howard just got hurt in training with him as well. He is really something...
That sounds much more plausible than the hamstring setback angle. Quotes from JVG and Dennis Lindsey the past few weeks made it clear that they were unsure Bonzi would play again for the team. Well, if they're going to admit that, the situation is probably even worse. I wonder if we'll ever get the full story on what went wrong. It looks like all the talk about "personal issues" was just a deception. I wonder what the point of that would have been, though.
Did you guys notice that Feigen took out the part about hurting those that you love the most? My theory is that it had something to do w/ being insensitive to actual tornado victims, but it is definitely my favorite quote of the year
Post-concussion T-Mac paired with post-all-star break Yao Ming... Hopefully this knock to the noggin' knocked some sense into T-Mac. Or some of his old athleticism. He used to be one of the best finishers in the league man, crazy athlete. In Orlando and his first season in Houston he was easily the top swingman in the league. He made crazy layups look easy and everyday. He also had a NASTY crossover for someone 6-8 and had a great jab step fall away jumper. That back injury (and all of last season basically) really took away one of his greatest skill sets (athleticism), but is helping him find another (playmaking). He may embrace his role as a playmaker, but you can tell he wants his athleticism back, he was one of the greatest players in the league with it. He said he lost a step and he's right. It doesn't mean he's still not capable of getting to the rim, it doesn't mean he'll never get it back, but for now he truly is playing a little stiffer/slower than T-Mac used to. OK sorry it's late and I won't rant anymore. The Rockets are 11-5.
I think we need to wait untill January to see Bonzi on the court - but he'll not wear a Rockets dress.
Article is from 2004 so it's not up to date with his victims since then. And Yao is on the list cause Deke hasn't always been Yao's teammate.
true, but if he has a setback with the knee he's been rehabilitating, i assume it's "career over". i'm more confident about him coming back from a back setback though they don't really give us much detail about it.
Deke won the game for us...by reminding LBJ what could happen if he dirves....... and from now on whenever Deke is on the floor, no one is going to drive to the basket.
That's exactly why I said Yao needs to foul hard if someone is seeking a foul on him by driving recklessly to the hoop. If he can learn Deke's elbow, his fouls would decrease and rebounds would be up for sure
