    Ok, probably next month.

THANK YOU! funny, none of his supporters seem to acknowledge that he was NOT ready, and that he is NOT what he used to be, and he even admits he will not be 100% at all this year.

and this guy was supposed to be the savior for the rockets? be the go to scorer that solves our late game collapses? yeah, ok.

It's funny how Tim Grover and him claimed that he was 100% fully recovered and just needed minutes. After 3 games, he says he won't be '100% this year. Not at all.' and refutes Grover's statements from the previous week.

Well, we all know that McGrady is as fickle as they come. The minute he feels any discomfort he's all of a sudden not 100% this year. If he has a good game, then it's going to be: "I'm progressing faster than I thought!"

Moral of the story is don't listen to anything that comes out of McGrady's mouth when it pertains to himself.

Its funny how stupid you are...100% healthy and 100% confident in the game isnt the same.

Except that he claimed he was 100% healthy, and very clearly isn't. The knee turned to mush after a game and a half. It felt okay, but wasn't ready for the pounding.

He did the exact same dance last year:
    "My knee isn't right"
"It's hard to get in a rhythm when you don't get enough touches"
"My conditioning isn't there, I need an in-season two week break for a training camp"
    "I'm 100% healthy, My knee 100%, It's just a confidence issue"
"I am announcing that I need season ending surgery"

People keep praising him for being honest to a fault in interviews. All he's ever done is blather and just run his mouth. He'd make a fantastic politician.

as a player, you go out and play hard every night. if you;re fatigued thats for the coach to decide when he sees you being fatigued. you don't just get up the next day and ask to play less because you're tired.

there are players like Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, or Dwyane Wade that would never say these kinds of things. They might be thinking it, but you never say it. That's McGrady's problem.

Sounds like he's only 50% confident he's 100% healthy enough to play now.

Next year, DD, next year. This year I hope he scores 40 per game and elevates the Knicks into the playoffs.

The silver lining is that the worse the Knicks do, the less likely they get Lebron in the offseason. In which case we'll reap benefit the next two years. OTOH, T-Mac scoring 40 would literally fill the entire GARM with Morey/Adelman 2nd guessing and hate threads for months, which just might make this board unreadable.

Thankfully, Morey and Adelman knew what they were doing. Thank god T-Mac didn't pull this stunt with us, or we might've had a harder time trading him.

I'm more concerned right now with Utah -- the better the Knicks' record the worse their pick. I don't believe, under the best of circumstances, they can score two (let alone three) of the big free agent guns.
