I highly doubt Yao will be traded. He will probably retire a Rocket.

You can't be serious. That makes no sense at all.

I think you guys are wrong about this one!

This is not about Tmac, this is actually about Yao!

This is a testment for Yao!

The rockets want to decide the direction of the future!

    Big,

I believe Tracy is sulking and we have a good old fashioned style problem....Tmac's ISO versus Rick's read and react.

Tracy is fully capable of playing ANY offense he is that good, but it is out of his comfort level to change the way he has played for his entire life.

I think Rick has done a piss poor job of getting him to buy in, and ultimatly it is causing the problems on the team.

To me, this is something that can be worked out, with talented players like Tmac you have to stroke their ego some to get them on board.....some people react well to criticism, others to positive reinforcement.

Tracy is not one who reacts well to criticism, he has very thin skin...but he loves adoration, so give him some.

I doubt this break is going to help Tracy's knee a lot. He's still going to be the same guy when he gets back most likely.

He just needs to mentally deal with the fact that he has lost a step.

Are you joking? Why in the hell would the team take two guys who are key members to a supposed championship caliber off the team just to see if Yao is "the guy". So I guess T-mac and Artest aren't injured they are faking to see if Yao is "the guy"

    Yup makes sense.

I agree with Shaud, I honestly doubt this does anything to actually fix his knee. Missing games isn't going to change his mentality, which is his main problem.

As far as who they'll let go or who they'll pick in drafts?

But I don't think its a testament of Yao though. Most would probably take Yao over McGrady or Artest all day long.

This is about getting players healthy and getting some continuity going forward.

If the team plays well, then it is up to the players that are out to integrate themselves into the team when they come back.

Last year if you recall, Tmac had some issues with the offense, had an injury and the team gelled without him.

Tmac is not stupid, he came back, joined in on the fun and away they went on a 22 game winning streak.

I think they are hoping lightning strikes twice.

Makes sense especially considering Doc's "all eyes on Yao" tip. I doubt Rox will trade the cash cow, but it definitely is gonna be a big testament for Yao for the coming weeks.

Yup mentally is his biggest problem, I'm sure the knee is bothering him but his mentality is his main problem. Reading articles this year he has stated on numerous times that he is frustrated with himself because he can't do the things he used to do. He has to realize he's been playing in this league a long time and that will happen.

On the bright side....big opportunity here for Von Wafer and Aaron Brooks.

man. i wish i could curse on here. i'll keep it to myself. we will be fine, though. our squad will be like glue. seriously. each night we'll have a different hero, and that's fine. hell, we can make it fun by trying to guess who the hero will be before the game starts, lol.....anyhow, i wonder if him being out means he doesn't practice. cause that's interesting that he will be gone during this homestand when they will have ample practice time together.

When healthy, this team is a championship contender. Problem is, this team has rarely been at full health this season. :(

I actually thought it did make sense. Maybe because Rox finally decided T-Mac and Ron ain't in their future plan?
