http://www.nba.com/news/pow-071105.html "NEW YORK, Nov. 5 – The Indiana Pacers’ Danny Granger and the Houston Rockets’ Tracy McGrady today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Tuesday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 4." "McGrady led the Rockets to a 3-0 record, averaging a league-high 32.3 points on .500 shooting. McGrady also dished out 4.7 assists and pulled down 4.3 rebounds. In scoring 47 points at Utah Nov. 1, McGrady broke his own mark for most points by a Houston player against Utah. The Rockets opened the season 3-0 for the first time since 1996 and only the seventh time in team history. "
I'm back Nice award,he won it last year too,I hope there will be plenty of them for Yao,T-Mac and other Rockets players.
Who agrees with me on this? The two teams that Tmac hates the most are Utah and especially Dallas, I remember he tried to singlehandedly beat the Mavs last year when yao was out. He plays with lots of passion against these teams. The most important stat for TMac is the shooting percentage if he can keep it at above 45% he will have a great season.
i remember.... he scored 40+ points and finally his back hurt too much to play... still remember he was in big pain laying down on court side in the 4th Q when the team was losing the game... so painful to watch.
if we keep winning, tmac and yao will go back and forth b/t player of the week and month, then win co-MVPs co-finals MVPs then they split their rings, so they're hungry for more
i think he hates dallas b/c he knows he's EASILY better than dirk and dirk gets more credit than him b/c he has a better team. u always see tmac tries to explode when he plays dallas. he dominates the spurs too b/c he respects them though, esp. bowen.
Simply amazing, T-Mac getting recognition for what he deserves finally. 1st week down, now for 1st month. Lets see it!
no thread about TMac is complete without the obligatory; but is he a point forward? wish he'd shut up and just play! keep it up Tracy!
