Well, the Rockets damn near beat the Suns who have the 2nd best record in the league without T-Mac and Yao last month. You would think they can knock off the team with the worst record.

    No Tmac....ugh.....

If Rafer decides to try to take over the game we will get roasted.

Man.....losing Yao was tough enough.....I hope the Rocks have enough to pull it off tonight.

But without TMac we are gonna be hard pressed to win.

That's gay. This is screwing over my fantasy team!

At least it's not the back, I'm grateful for that.

Tmac goes home with flu like symptoms, meanwhile Kobe is sick and plays and they beat the Jazz.

    Dang.......

McGrady has played sick in the past as well, I think they figured that his teammates can win a game AT HOME against the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.

Again, this game was won, we flat out lost it. You shouldn't need your sick superstar to get past the Celtics.

I am glad he didn't play, it gave me a chance to evaluate his teammates without him camouflaging their shortcomings, which were on full display last night.

The players flaws can't be fixed this season. It's too late for that. Hopefully the game was a big perspective check for the players and coaches. All of the "feel-good about our record"comments by JVG are true, IMO. The players must realize they have to bring it every night and no opponent can be taken for granted. I'm tired of the inconsistency. It's fine we can do great things when the effort and focus are there. It's also bad our players don't have the mental fortitude to be more consistent.

Maybe a game like this shows just how bad the Rockets can be as a team and as individual players. They can use this knowledge to adjust their effort level and smartness level upward against "lesser" and "mediocre" teams accordingly. The best teams in the NBA don't consistently play down to their opponents level as much as the Rockets do.

Yea I agree. Even if it was only 20min. Hell the way T-Mac scores he can put up 20pts in 20min. Without he and yao in the lineup we might be worst than the Celtics and thats saying alot.
