Mcgrady missed shootaround...game time decision for tonight

Flu is nothing. I will watch this game, so i hope TRacy feels good and he is going to play. I wanna see him playng great basketball again and scoring 30+ points. And win for Houston. I HOPE HE WILL PLAY

 

I meant without Tmac and without Yao. It was supposed to be funny, but it's somewhat true.

At least the Celtics have some guys who can create shots.

If you take the top 2 players out of any lineup, that team is lottery material. The Rockets proved it last year and we would have been even worse last year if it wasn't for JVG's greatness as a coach.

 

They have done an OK job...but I tracked down the low energy games in another thread and they were 6-8 in those games.

How can you say just "ok"? They have the sixth best record in the entire NBA. What are your expectations for them?

 

I think they should have the 3rd or at worst 4th best record, right now.

I expect them to have homecourt advantage for at least one round.

Without Yao??? If anything this team is overachieving with Yao missing significant time. We're talking about a starting line up that includes a 40 year old Mutombo, an overthe hill Howard, and a bench player in Alston. Your'e asking for the 3rd best record in the League with this team.

 

Yes....with Yao not injured, I would expect them to be competing for the 2nd seed.

They have enough talent to be higher ranked....look at all the team's we have blown games too we should have won? Just 3 more wins in those games and we would be in 4th position.

When Yao got hurt and with T-Mac having back troubles early in the season, I was hoping we could play +.500 ball and possibly make a run at the 4th seed (thinking that # 1 - 3 woud be locked up by Dallas, Phx & SA). They have exceeded my expectations. That being said there are only a handfull of games that we have not been in and have a chance to win.

 

You can easily say that about the games we won with out him. Yao may not be as important as T-Mac as you claim, but we are talking abut the BEST center in the league. We're talking about expectations. Are you telling me that when Yao went down and the way T-Mac was playing, you expected a 3rd or 4th seed?

More minutes for Bonzi and Head....Time for them to step up.

 

A flu should only limit McGrady to around 25 minutes, a flu isn't bad as long as you get some aide. You can play for a pretty long time, just not 40, it'll drain you.

 

Hopefuly Snyder gets some good minutes. Bonzi has sucked lately, and I think JVG is losing patience. I'm pulling for Kirk to get back in the rotation.
