Oh good, McGrady's going... thanks SO much for making this article, Justice, and for relaying it, OP.

I was losing interest in the playoffs but now I'm REALLY stoked to see McGrady on the bench!

Tracy's probably just making a mutual agreement with his roster spot on the Lakers next year.

Yes but he wasn't in Game 6 and he used the excuse of not being able to travel except during weekends because his rehab is in Chicago.

    Great article.

If the Cavs lost LeBron and Mo Williams, where would they be? If the Lakers lost Kobe and Gasol, where would they be? This can go on and on. This Rockets team has a ton of heart, toughness, and depth. I'll take us at full strength over anyone else in the league.

I have no problem with this - he hasn't effected our performance supporting from the bench.

    Good for him.

In the end, he's on the Rockets, he SHOULD be supporting them. He SHOULD be putting this water under the bridge and making it up to the guys... he at least owes them some cheering.

Did Justic hop on the bandwagon too while we're at it?

Yao, Deke, Tracy supporting from the bench is a positive.

I'll bet that McGrady feels a lot better after the Rockets put a whoopin on the Lakers without Yao also. Now it's not just that they can succeed without him.

That was exactly that. An excuse. He was afraid to face the camera when the team would move on to the second round in Game 6 against Portland. He has traveled just fine at other times. If Tracy McGrady fans believed the doctor advise part, they need to stop overdosing on the Denial Pill.

Well to be fair he couldn't have known that game 6 would be the game the team would clinch the 2nd round. But I remember thinking while I was at the game, that he probably didn't want to take a chance and be there if it were to happen. If I was a player who has the stigma that McGrady has of never getting out of the first round, it would be extremely painful to see the team I belong to do it without me.
