What are your thoughts on O'Neal, durvasa? I think that deal would make sense for us. Not sure why the Heat would do it. Haslem has been playing well but I don't see how they would improve with McGrady over O'Neal.

I agree. We'll finally be able to see whether he can contribute to the team. If it works out, I'm happy. If it doesn't, I'm still happy because we at least tried to use him, and it didn't work. We'll at least know what we have and all the crazy speculation can stop.
Well, this is a recognition by the Rockets that they are not eager for this team to go the second round of the playoffs this year.
I am not a fan of Tmac, but I hope the crowd is respectful and applauds anyone wearing the red and mustard. DD
If O'neal can stay healthy, he's a good defensive player and an upgrade over Chuck offensively. He takes charges. There aren't a ton of strong defenders with above-average offense at the C position in today's league, so he'd be a nice acquisition. Plus it cuts down our salary a bit if we get them to take Dorsey. I'm not sure why Riley would want McGrady, but if he's at the game it seems that therer must be some interest.
they need another playmaker. wade is their scorer + playmaker, and thus that is hurting wade's efficiency this year. and tmac's potential after returning is higher than what o'neal will ever be. if tracy plays well, they can resign him to a smaller deal to go with wade to appease him, and still have the money to add someone else in next year's free agency. o'neal will give us size. i guess miami is the only team that is willing to deal with us now.
Bill said on TV that Rick told him that he would play Tmac 4 mins in the first half. Bill said he asked Rick if TMac makes his first 4 shots, would he bring him in in the second half...he said Rick said no. There ya go.
Given that Adelman openly said McGrady will only play 4 minutes even if he is playing well just lends further to the showcase theory.
most of those crowd don't do clutchfans. they don't hate him this much. They would just like to have opportunity to watch once a superstar with same ticket price.
