McGrady: If traded from Orlando, Rockets are first choice

This just might be posturing, or an attempt to drive up his value. Maybe Orlando's GM ask him to do this, so the Magic could get a better offer, and maybe TM agreed, because he feels guilty about forcing a trade.

Though SA and Houston make more sense than LA, because TD and YM are both in their 20s, and SO is 32.

 

I don't think it's posturing. Maybe if it came from his agent or someone connected with Orlando. Now Tmac may be pushing at the Magic, but I think he's sincerely interested in playing for Houston. (of course, I want him to be!)

I love Steve Francis, and I'm a huge supporter, but not wanting T-Mac for Francis would be stupid. I just hope they don't ask for too much else... cause Cuttino's my favorite player.

I guess there is sth already in the works between TMac's agent and the Rockets, otherwise he won't single out the Rockets.

I think it is now all on JVG--whether he wants TMac to replace Francis. CD and Les shouldn't have any problem with it.

 

Tmac for Yao...talking about blockbuster trade...

This would actually be a good deal for the Magic. They draft Okafur and then they'd have a lineup of:

That would be a lethal team in the east because they would have two good defensive big men and a good scoring backcourt which is sort of what Detroit is doing.

 

Hey, it's the offseason.
There seems to be more to this than the usual trade rumors. (from a message board) Tmac actually talked about coming here. Besides, sometimes these puppies come true.

 

It would be better than Detroit. Because Steve is a much more prolific scorer than anyone on Detroit. Well maybe with sheed, but still Steve can do so much more... And imagine if G.Hill gets better.
