I ask you "How are you doing, what are you doing tonight"

Will you answer "Enough about me, lets talk about my family?"

    What?
He was never asked anything about the team.
People are concerned with his rehab. People know what he can do for the team.

    And watch Morey's interview...
He talks about how Tracy himself said that he wants to come back in shape and 100% so he can be apart of Adelman's offense.

And who said Tracy can't play defense? When he's in shape, he can be a phenomenal defender.
He guarded Dirk Nov. way back when in the playoffs. He averaged the most blocks in Orlando. He has the length and quickness... WHEN IN SHAPE--> Which he is committed to.

No one ever says that Aaron Brooks can't play defense. Not everyone is 10-dimensional like Lebron James.

Stop being so critical and high maintenance when it comes to TMac.

A much younger Amare Stoudamire said the same thing when he first came back. Tracy, please try this "No Comment" and when Nov 23 comes, lead the Rockets to victory while giving the other the team the business. Also, average like 22 jordans, 5 hakeems, and 5 majics. Then we can talk about you earning the $23 mln u r getting paid.

Then and only then will I be satisfied.

I'm happy for McGrady and all. Glad to see he's determined and trying to gain some of his fans back, but it's a little too late if you ask me.

It's the final year of his contract as a Rocket and a lot of us are already looking forward. Had he said something like this a few years back when we were legit contenders, I would be thrilled. But now Yao is out for the season, and teams like Lakers, Cavs, Magic, Spurs, Celtics are at their best.

Sorry Tmac, but no one really gives a shhh at this point.

he can play D.....it's just that he doesn't feel like it......he also doesn't feel like getting out and running, which the entire front office including the owner has been talking about all offseason......but tmac prefers to walk it up and getting into his ballstopping position........don't forget his words from last season......that it's hard to get in a rhythm when you're only touching the ball like twice every 10 minutes.......tmac needs to get his iso plays otherwise even tmac would expect tmac to go 2 for 16 from the field...

Letting the team establish a way of playing is good for both the organization and Tracy.

You're judging him ONLY from last season.
Watch his interview. He explains himself. He wasn't in shape. He was clearly injured. "I wasn't myself".

He doesn't feel like getting out and running?
Did you not read my response? I'll say it again.
Morey said that Tracy himself told Morey that he wanted to come back in shape to run Adelman's offense.
PLUS, Tracy was asked about this in his interview..
He said that this is what Orlando pretty much did(run and gun).
And he talked about how much he thrived in that kind of offense.

    Where are your facts?

If Tmac thinks it will be like Orlando he is sadly mistaken. Orlando gave the ball to him and he made all the decisions.

In the new order, Tmac will be one of the main cogs, but will not have the ball nearly as much.

i'm citing his past actions over numerous seasons in houston while you're citing his 8min interview from yesterday - and you ask for facts?? :D

even in orlando they did not have a running offense.....tmac was notorious for slowing down the tempo and getting his halfcourt iso's on.

You forget that Houston has been running JVG offense since McGrady has arrived.. BESIDES last year, which just happened to be the year he was injured.

During Adelman's first year with the Rockets, he didn't have enough time to implement his offense amongst the JVG group. So they ran a lot of JVG's offense which was half-court execution/alot of pick and rolls..

And why will this year be any different for tmac? I dont care if he 'said he wants to run Adelmans offense'. Tmac has said alot of stuff that wasnt true. Ill believe it when I see it.

He will be healthy and most importantly he will feel like 'himself'.

this is absolutely false. they tried running adelman's offense the first month of that season but tmac refused to be on the same page, and our offense sputtered leading to a crappy win/loss record. it was only after this that adelman switched back to the JVG offense.

Actually when Tmac went down Adelman said screw it...and they started running his offense....and then Scola started and 22 games later...history.

the 22 games was much later......in november they tried running RA's offense and then had to abandon it after it wasn't working out....

I'm so tired of arguing about Tracy and the past.

As a forum, we should all just say **** it and swallow his past, support the ENTIRE team, looking towards the future.

    1. What does that have to do with him playing in Adelmans offense?
    2. Which means hes going to take it upon himself to score, like old times, and fail.
    3. EVEN MORE reason to buffer his stats for his next contract! He can have WAY better stats playing outside of RAs offense than in it.

Hey, im not saying that he wont play in Adelmans offense. He very well could do it.

Im just saying you guys are taking this too fast with "everythings better now because mcgrady said he would do it!". Before spewing that, how about you just wait and SEE him do it?
