Unfortunately for the Pistons, Hill's work-ethic was never questioned.

WTF did T-Mac do to you? LOL.

Amazing how people have so much hatred for a guy that they don't even know.

He's not a saint by all means but at least he's not some sort of crazy bum like Beasley, Sprewell or any other wannabe thug who has a shady past.

    Sheez...lighten up guys.

He screwed over the rockets and quit on the team while making the highest salary in the NBA.

I really wish if T-mac could make a come back like Grant Hill, he was a great player for most part of his career, it's such a pity that he had gone through those injuries. Now I really wish the best for him.

he quit on our team mid-game, forcing his teammates to play 4 on 5.

he called the lakers to win the title while our team was still in the playoffs.

he caused a distraction his last year, saying adleman and the rockets were holding him back by not allowing him to play more than 8 minutes a game, and when finally given the opportunity prove the rockets wrong, fell flat on his face.

amazing how people continue to defend this guy and make excuses for him.

i think you need to lighten up.

any of you TOFs out there are welcome to take the bet in my sig - put your money where your mouths are!

Doesn't bother me in the slightest, he gets what he deserves.

If he worked harder and took care of his body and took responsibility instead of making excuses, he would have been even better.

Oh well, life goes on....if he comes back, good for him, if not...big deal.

Here's the thing about McGrady. I was on his side for maybe too long. Even when he came back last year and was playing 8 minutes a game, I thought he should have been given more of a chance.

But, my problem with the guy is that he never learned his lesson. You'd think after making excuses and then not being able to perform he'd stop talking himself up. But he didn't. He came back and wasn't able to as well he and the rest of us hoped, but rather than just saying he was going to have to adapt his game, and work on some different things to still be effective, he still made excuses. There was always a reason, and it wasn't ever his fault. At some point he needed to take responsibility and do whatever was needed to get where he could really help a team out.

He didn't. So for that, I'm just sick of him. I feel bad that he wasted his potential because he didn't realize what was required of him to make the most of it. I don't hate him, I just feel sorry for him, and think he needs some therapy for possible depression, and other problems. But I'm not going to cheer for him as an on the court hero anymore. He's used all his chances.

MCgrady is just too honest with everything but himself.......You ask him a question about anything other than him, he's brutally honest. But if you ask him about himself, he's in total denial

You surround yourself with hanger ons and sycophants, and they make you believe it is everyone else's fault.

Look at Lebron this year...he still believes "The decision" was a good thing to do.....

Mavrick and crew are hanging on his short hairs....

He quit on the team in his last two years... it would not have mattered if he were trying anyway considering he couldn't do **** with that knee. So your argument is pretty much invalid. Whether he quit on the team or not, he would have been equally as unproductive.

It was only because he demanded a trade that we got Kevin Martin and Jordan Hill and draft picks. It was only because of Tracy that we indirectly kept Anthony from moving somewhere else, possibly to the Knicks where he could pair with Amare.

We also freed up 23mil in cap space which is a godsend in terms of flexibility for Morey and his crew. While most of these might not have been intentional moves by Tracy they were influenced by him nonetheless.

Plenty of ways to raise that same money or more without coming off as an egomaniac.

Even if you are an egomaniac, no need to bask in your self-love in front of the world.

DD is spot on in this case.

That was a lot of damn money he raised, and I find it very hard to get too mad at someone that just helped a few thousand people by answering some questions about his future. I didn't like it much at the time, and I think he screwed Cleveland over, but he has worked his tail off to make those decisions for his family.

Quitting is quitting never justifiable and saying criticizing a quitter invalid is ridiculous. Had he been honest and up front with the team about his condition, and not quit on them (see "The Toronto Game") things would have gone down a lot differently.

It wasn't his "demanding" a trade, it was a mutual falling out caused by his diva like behavior, his inability to play, and years of laziness and unrealized potential. That is his legacy here and everywhere else he's ever played.

We didn't free up 23 mill in cap space. Again, how far under were we after last season? Oh wait, we OVER.

And if denver doesn't want 2 first rounders, Favors, and AK for Melo, you really think Jeffries, swap rights, and a pick would get it done? Child, please.
