Tracy sounded fairly realistic in his Pistons.com interview. Basically said, feels good, but who knows what the wear and tear of the season can do to the knee. And that he's not the guy who's going to save the franchise.
Still has chicken legs. I've wondered from time to time about whether his knee injuries could be related to lack of strength around his knees.
it's related to wear and tear of bad mechanics due to his scoliosis and muscle imbalances...added strength could help, but it's not like his upper body was huge and he had thin legs...plenty of other players have had thin legs with no issues..
The man sure does talk a lot............I hope he makes it back though.... I'm sure he's learned a lot from what he's been through.
THe hate you guys have for T-mac is at crazy tea party levels. He was part of the rockets last year remember? He's been a rocket for more than 4 years, I would assume it would take a while to distance himself from that.
I'm definitely rooting for him. I hope he resurrects his career. I know many Rockets fans bear an enormous grudge against him for various reasons, but I really wanted him to succeed when he was here, and it's unfortunate how things played out over the years. He's no longer a Rocket, but he's always been a good guy in my view and I hope he at least manages to resurrect his career. I mean, this guy was a sure-fire hall-of-famer just a couple of years ago.
T-Mac time is done! I don't really see him contributing much with an elite player mindset but with a non elite player body. He's going to need to be motivated unlike the previous seasons where he just gives up on the team. Best of luck to you T-Mac.
I remember he was trying to mess with Rick the Ruler and Rick the Ruler sent his whiny ass to New York, and when D'antoni believed all the lies coming from him and Grover that he was healthy, he played him and Tmac broke down faster than a used Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra that was on sale on the side of the highway. Except that the lemon of a car cost $25 million dollars. Oh we remember.
http://twitter.com/Vee_Ellis4Freep Hearing T-Mac showed some flashes during Tuesday night's scrimmage.
Meh, doesn't mean much considering he has been showing flashes the past few months. I'm sure everyone remembers his first game with the Knicks, then he was free falling after that.
the point is if his knee can hold up relatively well, he can still be a very good player in this league. this season should tell us that. if his knee can't hold up, time to retire.
Yeah, I think that is the point. If I remember correctly he was playing pretty well last year when 'his freaking knee felt fine'. So maybe he can regain some of his old self. But he has to play hard and tough too. He didn't do that last year at all.
