    yes you are a TOF.

only a TOF would ever put "tmac" and "jordan" in the same reponse, paragraph or sentence.

I don't even care that you are talking about Jordan's gambling or even Jordan's hanes t-shirts.

the mere idea of thinking of Jordan while you are talking about Tmac qualifies you as a TOF, cause no normal NBA fan would even think those two words belong in the same page or book or library or language.

It would be nice to see if he can be healthy and play like he used to play he was a decent player and had some games were he could go off. But he wont even go down as a top 50 player of all time so for you to say Jordan is crazy.

I believe the answer you are looking for is the Rockets organization when he submarined the trade.

Seriously, you need to take off your TMac colored glasses and examine the last years with Tracy. It wasn't that he was injured. Injuries don't bring out the hate. Yao's been out and you don't see the hate. Why is that? It's the backstabbing, whinning and disloyalty toward the team and fans - Rocket fans. But it's good to see that the TMac fans are still alive and kicking.

Keep living the dream that it was all a big misunderstanding with Tracy.

lol people still b****ing about "Trade Gate". First off, that is not a Morey type deal. Vince Carter for Tmac looks like the worst trade ever compared to getting Kmart, Jordan Hill and NY draft picks. Morey is not dumb to trade away a guy with an expiring contract in the biggest FA summer in a long time for an aging player with a longer contract. Sorry that trade doesn't scream "Morey" to me. We won't look as good as we do now if that trade went down. Morey is actually smart unlike the people that wanted Cousin Vince.

Also, what difference would it make? Even if it wasn't a "Morey type deal."

T-mac didn't know. He heard the rumors, so he went and got 12934854 different opinions until someone finally suggested microfracture surgery.

LMAO. Oh ok, but we know that the trade was officially on the table? You were there when Morey got the call right? And we apparently know that T-Mac "blocked" the trade by announcing the surgery. All facts, right? This is not based on speculation or internet rumors? HA HA HA, I "Clyde Drexler Laugh" at you.

I'm sure NJ were distraught after they heard T-Mac was going to have surgery and not be able to help them make the playoffs. It had nothing to due with his soon to be expiring contract  . Obviously an injured T-Mac is better than a healthy Vince. C'mon son, My theory is just a valid as that tmac jfk conspiracy theory to not get traded.

I think you know my feelings about McGrady. But in his defense on this particular issue, back surgery is a very scary prospect and often does not improve one's condition. Besides, once he found the witch doctor his back was no longer an issue. The pain was legitimate.

    apparently.

the truth hurts, dont it TOF?

his teammates, the organization and the fans.

we took them to 7 games w/out your boi tracy - gave them the best series of the playoffs that year - definitely showed more heart than orlando in the championship series.

he didnt lie - he just called another team to win the title while his own team was about to face them - if you dont see a problem w/ that than you really dont know much about what it means to play on a team.

stop being so overly defensive of that loser mcgrady.

im sure it pissed them off - at the least it certainly did not endear them to mcgrady. real teammates support each other.

ok - what does this have to do w/ anything?

no, you just come into every tmac thread whining about people who tell the truth about him. whats worse, bashing tmac or whining about people who bash him? and the only one you are 'dissin' is yourself w/ your irrational tmac worship. it makes you look most foolish.

ok - none of that changes the facts of why we hate him.

who is gossiping - we speak the truth. and if you were not dwelling on it you would not be here defending the guy to the degree you are. again, what is worse - bashing tmac or b****ing about people who bash him?

the only one w/ hurt feelings seems to be you.

Were you there? None of us know for certain, that is a fact.

However, you don't find it at all FISHY how T-Mac had to go to a number of different doctors before one finally suggested microfracture? right before the trade deadline, amidst all the rumors?

I havent participated in any of the McGrady threads up to now. So ill say it all now.

I thought McGrady was a great player. And a great player for the Rockets. Yes, he got hurt. And no, he didnt take us far into any playoffs. But unlike a lot of folks, I dont measure him as a player based on what the team did, or didnt do. Its not up to one guy to win a playoff series. He makes a convenient scapegoat for those placing blame, and thats it.

Sometimes, the tools you have dont mesh as well as you like. How a team performs is measured 5 players at a time. Thats how I see it.

It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyone that wanted T-Mac at that point, wanted the contract, not the player. Let's say he did block the trade. I don't think season ending surgery would even matter to whoever wanted him because a move for TMac was really a step towards Lebrottery (lebron lottery). The problem with this whole thing is how T-Mac handled it. He didn't inform the team or anything. Didn't discuss his decision his the team. Just went straight through the media. That rubbed everyone in the organization the wrong way and put him on his last thin straw.

It's not out of this world for someone to get different opinions on something serious. Even after TMac made The Announcement, Morey said they were still waiting on second opinions before deciding what to do. Also, nothing else was "working" for T-Mac at that point. We tried bringing him on slow, we tried no back to backs, we even gave him two weeks off. Still, nothing from him. So, surgery was the last resort. Mac was actually tested wth a T-2 MRI, one of two in the country, when he made The Announcement.

But let's try to breakdown the situation. it all began with the Infamous Bucks game where T-Mac missed the wide open dunk-up, which was Feb. 9. Seriously, after that performance, what team in their right mind, wanted to trade for T-Mac and his talents? Anyways, that was already close to the deadline and after the game was about the same time he went to check out the doctors. So I think it was just all a coincidence with the rumors and The Announcement. We have to remember that it was just rumors. Rumors like Bosh to Houston deal or rumors like Carmelo preferring the Rockets over the Knicks.

But T-Mac handled this the worst way possible and thats why the organization was pissed at him, not because he blocked some trade that could have got his cousin here. And if he really did dikembe a trade, it was a blessing in disguise. I'll take what we have now, over Vince Carter any day of the Mayan Calendar.

Nah, you just make it a point to whine about others having fun at his expense.

I don't mind that the lying sack of quitting **** is playing for Detroit, I am sure all those baby mammas he has out there need the $$$ too.

Just glad it is not in Houston.
