So true. McGrady complained about touching the ball every 5 minutes last season. Without Alston there's going to be no one on this roster to keep him in check. http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Will-Conroy-Interview-Preview-for-NBA-Workouts-162/
As much as I dislike Tracy now, I hope he comes back good enough to be able to make an impact on this team. I love the Rockets and although Tracy has pissed me off a lot he is still a Rocket therefore I will continue to root for him.
Don't worry, Ron filled the McGrady role perfectly last year. Breaking plays and hogging the ball, except that he passed even less. TMAC shouldn't have any problem taking that role back now that Artest is gone.

I optimistically expected Tracy to be back for the start of the season. Even though he wont give a date for his return, i think it is imminent that he is at the rockets training camp - DAY 1 - I think he has just increased excitement among some Rockets fans and will deliver on that excitement. If you dont believe what Tracy is saying, at least believe Grover (not from sesame street btw). He vouches for Tracy. To be honest, out of all the offseason news that Rockets fans had to endure this year, this has to be some of the best news. I know alot of you think that T-Mac is done here, but I for one am most certainly looking forward to him playing for the Rockets again. I have not been hurt by him, nor am I holding a grudge against him. All I am saying is that he is going to be playing for the rockets once again and will bring some exciting basketball to our TVs/arenas. Lets all give him a chance before we 'sail the ship'. I think it will be worth it. Give us a healthy TMAC and see what becomes of it. With the supporting cast we have, it could equal a semi decent playoff position. And here comes the HIGHLY optimistic Moonscope..... If Yao can return towards the end of the season it could prove to be an amazing season, with a possible amazing ending...
I'm pulling for Tracy on this, yeah he's said the same things in the past but I think he will come back with a good knee and prove the doubters wrong (hopefully for the Rockets sake and him) Tim Grover is the real deal so I expect tmac's return to be a lot stronger than any of his other injury returns.

Hmm.. sounds a bit like last season... let's see what Mac can do... not that it really matters... we aren't going anywhere for right now with this team assembled and with Yao out.
A healthy Tracy Mcgrady with AB-Shane-Trevor-Carl and Luis could make us a scary team. We have shooters too. Could Yao return in time for the playoffs?
I'm sorry, I only remembered from the top of my head Miller and Hill. I forgot about Gooden, and I dont remember Vaughn and Hunter playing last year
