I have faith in Mac...... well, in Tim Grover anyways and he guaranteed that T-mac will jump like his Toronto days the dunk in the video is also encouraging
I did see him on the bench, but he also does not show alot of emotion when he is playing either. I don't take that as not caring.
really? if true then i am pretty pumped about the season... so who comes off the bench battier or ariza?
Yeah... Grover's talk got me more excited than McGrady's. That Grover guy is no joke. Tracy, on the other hand, has not had a very good record at predicting the future (Stromile Swift is still waiting for his invite to the All Star Game, for instance).
No, it suggests that he has gained back some of his athleticism, you know, the thing he physically lacked that made him a crap player by our standards last year? Oh wait, let me guess - you going to make another statement with an obvious sarcastic undertone, and slap an emoticon to seal it off, right? Very intelligent.
No, he'll con some team into a two year deal for the mid level, but no GM would be stupid enough to ever think he can be an important piece of their puzzle.
If we can't move McGrady for something worth while, I'm 100% behind him. He deserves a chance to redeem himself. I want to be a part of the fanbase that's willing to give him that opportunity. That being said, he has said all of the same things before. Him SAYING he's motivated proves nothing. Let's see what he brings when he comes back.
I'm certainly no TOF, and it has sickened me to see the way he has played and his attitude the last two years, but I still hold hope for him to make a comeback. It would be interesting to see what the BBS would be saying if he came back and lead this team to the second round next year (unlikely yes, but just hypothetically.)
