Tmac likes his life style seeing guys like Shawn Marion going from making 18 mil a year down to 6 scares the crap out of him. I would not be shocked if by December of this year tmac is dunking on fools.
It is in the best interest of the Rockets that McGrady returns healthy and once again can play at elite level. I know that many of the past guarantees from T-Mac has failed miserably and frankly I don't care about his guarantees. Given that I think it would be very hard for us to find an elite player via trade, I want to hang on to whatever hope we have to salvage the upcoming season. I am not getting hope high because of this article but it does give us some kind of hope and for that I am happy. As a Rocket fan, I hope that fully recovers and plays well as a Rocket for this upcoming season so that we have more option on what we should do going forward.
The only thing that would help him now is improving on his jump shot. With a bum knee, he's not going to get past many NBA defenders...
You guys have to NOTICE that what McGrady is saying right there is basically being supported by Grover. If Grover is saying this (think he said the same about Wade), that's a very good sign.
I've been calling this guy out for 2-3 years now, everyone on this board told me to go back to the Raptor Boards, funny how most agree with me now. This guy says anything to sell himself, he's a fraud and an act. I hope we can replace him with Dwayne Wade.....that guy plays with passion.
I've been lurking these boards since the T-Mac trade. I supported him the first year... then.... ugh.
Not many are trying to play on one leg. The thing about TMAC is, that earlier in the season many of us were begging him to quit and have surgery and that him playing was just prolonging the inevitable. He was obviously not right, was playing like crap, and we just wanted him to get it over with. I believe that if he had made the decision to go back under the knife earlier in the season (and had let the team announce it) that the hatred on the BBS wouldn't be anywhere the level it is now. Normally, playing through pain gets people on your side. It backfired in TMAC's case.
Except when he didn't. I'm sure that if Yao had been having the sore foot regularly earlier in the year (the one the kept him out against Golden State), he would have been taking games off too.
Why does everyone hate on McGrady he has been hurt, do you think he wants to be hurt. He is a great player when healthy, I'm sure he would rather be playing the game he loves then sitting on the side lines.
Bull****. Talk about a PR move. What's next? McGrady beats Kobe 1v1 in pickup game at his house? I'll believe it when I see it.
Evidently, Tracy McGrady does not care. It's the message that has been going around for a long time, and will continue.
Did everyone here fail to notice that McGrady reverse dunked the ball 2 handed, while flatfooted off 2 feet?
I guess I just disagree with that, clearly he was hurt last year you don't have that kind of surgery without having a bum knee.
