    Now, now, Mr. Herrera.

    Go easy on the guy.

He obviously hasn't gotten his copy of "Bashing T-Mac for Dummies" yet.

    Here.....
    .....have a cookie.......

the fact that he was doing leg presses off of that leg is pretty impressive..I would think that's a good sign that the knee is getting stronger..having knee problems myself, I know it can be hard to do leg presses or squats when the knees are hurting...Looks like T Mac just might get some of that jumping back..Well, keeping my fingers crossed.

If TMac can somehow restore his "first step" quickness and his elevation he will always be a solid contributor. It's a big "if" at this point, and I'm reluctant to believe any hype he may have.

I will cross my fingers though, and hope for the best. I can't expect too much from him anymore. His injury history is painful from a fan standpoint and from his personal standpoint I'm sure.

A healthy and explosive McGrady is a force in this league, a tough matchup, and in the playoffs a numbers machine.

I'm not optimistic about his recovery though. I've been burned by high expectations from him too many times.

I will support him however as long as he remains a Rocket, and I think any self respecting Rockets fan should do the same.

I'll be honest like what Clutch said, this video sounds really similar to last years one. Maybe Grover really makes that much of a difference? I really hope he sticks with him!!

kudos. That's what I wanted to say all along. At the end of the day it could be a final statement of him in his superstar hey day. At this time of the year I don't see any contender teams offering him max money next year. IMO he will have to take a pay cut.

May be I'm wrong, but I think it's, "How is this moron a memeber, and I'm not?

Well, iiiiiiiiit's bbbbbbbecauuuuse yyyyyyyyyou ddddddddddon't kkkkkkkknoooow aaaaaaaaaany tttttthing aboooout baaaaaaaaaasket BALL!!!! Let alone T-Mac! Obviously from your lastest entries you are trying to fit into a conversation that's above your mental capacity, thus this is why you are a rookie!

But I'll be kind, does the 94 in "RocketRed 94" mean that you are representing the 94 team or that you were born in 94'? From your responses, I think it's the later.

No Carl there is nothing wrong with it but blind hate backed up by no arguments is another story. He is a human, he made mistakes, he got frustrated. I honestly think one of the reasons he did not trim his body last year was because he thought he could coast and rest after surgery while ron is around. Well that fired backward. He could not play well consistently and he could not take criticism by ron and others. And then he decided to put everything at halt and underwent surgery again. Well he may be gone next year.

I stand corrected! It was the 08' play-offs, but as I said, rafer was out 2 games and he only played the 1st half of game 6. Battier, well he was Battier. To you he is a glue guy, to me he needs to be turned into glue. He doesn't bring anything offensively - period.

To me Scottie Pipen was the perfect glue guy, a do everything small forward. Battier's only asset is his defense! To win a basketball game, the object of the game is to out score your opponent. Scottie would LOCK his man down, get you points on the break, and from the 3. Scottie average nearly 14 points a game. Battier doesn't run the floor and he is missing on offense the majority of the season. This past year was the best he has ever played in the play-offs and if I was Morey, I would trade him now while his value is high.

In the 08' play-offs, Landry and Brooks were rookies, Landry had a few good moments but nothing like this past year, he was more productive this past year. Brooks got abused in 08'. Scola scored inside but that is because he was the only option. Who else was going to score inside; Mutombo or Chuck Hayes? I don't think so!

The 09' play-off team was healthier and they had more peices in which to work with, the 08' play-off team had T-Mac and Rafer, that was it!

so that trade article from ESPN is going to fail at the #1 option

why? because you cannot traded an injured player

why? because Tracy says he'll be in Rockets uniform

why? because he will come back 1 second after the trade deadline

Actually, battier scored a team high 22 points the first game against Utah (loss)

He also shot 48 percent from 3 for the entire series. Doesn't bring anything offensively is just absurd. If you were saying he can't create his own shot or doesn't have the ability to operate consistently in the post, then that's something I would agree with.

precisely. that's why it is important not to rush. He can do a better PR job by taking his time and working on his game until he is real 100 percent.

It's people like you that piss me off. Defense > Offense. Defense wins championships (ala Celtics, Spurs, Pistons, Lakers, etc.) Offense get's knocked out in the first round or two. (Suns, Hornets, etc.)

Wow the Rockets must have won like 5 Championships this decade. It is the combo of efficient defense and efficient offense (just because the Pistons ran a half court offense and scored few points doesn't mean they scored inefficiently) that does it. There is more weight towards defense for a Championship Team, but I would trade Chuck Hayes for Lebron James in a heart beat.

I guess I must have dreamed the threes Battier hit from the corner to seal a couple of victories against Portland.

I guess I must have dreamed about the defense Shane displayed on Kobe during game 1 as well as the other two games we won in the Lakers series.

I guess I must have dreamed the fact that Shane has been referenced as the glue to our team since arriving.

I know Gay is the scorer and fills the bucket, but how great is that when he gives up those points on the other end.

Battier was brought in to compliment Yao and Tracy. He has done that. We didn't need another sg that year. We had Tracy. If Rudy was still on this team, only this past season would he had been able to display his offensive skill.

I like Shane and championship teams need players like Shane. Ask the Yankees about their success since going to the grab all the all stars approach... It doesn't work.

I still think he has a place on this team and will help us get back to championship level quicker than a developing Gay or Donte Greene would.
