Please...he's telling the story from one side (McGrady's) and then making his own judgement on it (blaming the Rockets org). Did he say anything negative about McGrady's behavior in all this? My guess is no.

    Reporting? Extremely biased reporting maybe.

    Great News!

I'm very happy that TMac is disgusted, frustrated and un-happy. He really screwed the club over last season when he had the opportunity to be moved to another club but cut DM and the organization off at the knees.

TMac's time here was nothing but false promises.

obviously it's biased b/c he only talked with mcgrady (as most journalists who are able to have star athletes' phone numbers on speed dial). and i'm sure he sides with players most of the time.

but we shouldn't diss the guy. he's a guy that spits OPINIONS, not a straight up journalist. he heard what mcgrady had to say and he said what he felt.

so now we wait to hear the rockets' side, which won't come until a trade is finalized.

both sides will have their day.

Ahh Tracy Tracy things were going so nicely with you being quiet.

What is it with peace and calm that you don't like it? I understand you
frustration but you make it hard for anybody to sympathize with you.

I'm still a fan barely and your making that very hard. Please STFU!!!!
Go back to working out and try to re salvage what career you have left. Thank You.

He was "disgusted" about his tenure in Toronto...
He was "disgusted" about how his tenure in Orlando ended...

Now he is "disgusted" with the Rockets...

Hmmm, maybe he should be disgusted with his quitting self...

McG will get a verbal positive and the focus will be on the incoming, not the outgoing. Words will leak later, perhaps, but do not expect the Rox to put knox on McG.

Hmmm, maybe he would be disgusted with next club that he's gonna be stuck with for a long period of time.

One thing for sure, he'll never be tired of being satisfied with his quitting self until the doomsday comes. ;)

Excellent point. I imagine Morey is having a hard time packaging McGrady with SAS. The Rockets will have to add an asset to the mix before another team will bite on taking Tracy and his mouth piece.

isn't that the same? someone from the organization will leak something if a trade is finalized at the trade deadline and we will knwo everything.

so patience. it may be quiet now, but it'll explode later.

BS, players are looking at the T-Mac situation and going, "he's getting paid $23 million dollars to stay at home and be his family"?

Rockets can't afford for him to get injured in a scrimage. It's bad PR to trade for an injured player even if it's just for his expiring contract. A team will still need to sell it to their fans that he can help them.

It's not about "dicking" Tracy but protecting their interest. So they can keep alive any of chance of trading him.

I can see why he's disgusted but he's partially to blame, if he would have kept his mouth shut he would at least be playing. Playing time was the only way he was going to have any leverage for his next contract. I don't think we'll be able to trade him because Morey won't take on a bad contract and because his salary is huge so he probably sits for the rest of the year. You have to wonder if he goes the route of Marbury and SF3, former all-stars that nobody wants and are out of the league.

I don't think there will be any 'explosion', when traded or later when words start to leak out. H-town ain't New Yawk. And McG ain't Kobe. And many have already forgotten McG; most have already moved on.

There will be trade, beneficial to the Rox. The team that trades for McG will re-sign him this summer, and be disappointed by spring.

Yeah, I really hope this isn't the case. We haven't heard that from the organization (and obviously, they would be crazy to admit to pay back). I only hear it as an excuse for posters here. They'll say that we're just paying him back for all the crap he's put us through but when pressed on how classless it would make the organization their reasoning changes.

I truly believe the Rockets have moved on from McGrady because they feel that he can no longer be productive enough in his style of play.

Okay, I don't get it...so he was invited to play? You mean just a pickup game?
Don't tell me this is trying to say NJ wanted him on the team and 'invited him'...that sounds stupid as hell. If playing on a team just requires an invitation then the league would be run a lot different...uh, contracts matching, trades, buyouts, matching salaries, luxury tax...etc.? Oh, but he was 'invited'...right...

The next couple of weeks should be fun -- Tracy is in panic mode because no teams are offering the Rockets trades we actually want. Certainly not the value that Tracy's expiring contract provides -- we don't want a mid-level player and a bunch of scrubs to match the big contract.

    Sorry McGrady.
