He wants to stay in Houston guy. This is his plan: ruin his reputation as a player so nobody wants to trade for him.

So McGrady - in his 15th year and who isn't durable to begin with - was supposed to team with Yao - who also isn't durable and would be coming back from missing an entire season - to lead the Rockets to a title after never getting past the first round when they were in their prime? You really think the Rockets should be investing in that at the expense of developing players and looking to acquire younger, better ones to build around?

    Mmm...

This will be the third city TMac will get booed at if and when he plays again.

Mmmm I detect a pattern here...

Wow, what if he goes on a roadie that has Toronto, Orlando and Houston on the same trip??

It will be a week long boofest HAHAHAH!!!

McGrady is disgusted by how well the Rockets did in playoffs last year without him. He was expecting the Rockets to crumble after he decided to call it quits last season. Instead they moved on to second round, a feat McGrady never achieved in his entire playing career.

Mcgrady is disgusted by the trash that is being offered by other team for trade that involves him. If your trade value is what you are worth as a player, Mcgrady right now is as close as you can get to being worthless.

McGrady is disgusted that he is not getting playing time on to the court to rehabilitate and at the same time earn a new contract.

McGrady is disgusted because for once a coach had guts to take stand for what is right and go against his selfish agenda.

McGrady is disgusted that the GM, Morey, stands behind the coach.

McGrady is even more disgusted that the owner, who once used to worship him, publicly spoke out against him.

Yeah McGrady is disgusted, but you know what he washes his disgust down with?

$1,000,000 biweekly check, 1% of which might be going to Steven Smith.

You know he's gotta have his cheez doodles!

I don't blame him.. The Rockets are messing with his money for next season. Yeah he wanted big mins but come on. The guy agreed to play 8 mins a game. Then he was so called "sent home" while they was about to play the nets. Hmm all the guy wanted to do was see if he could play for a new contract for possibly another team... What do they do. band him.

I understand what he did in the past was wrong but come on no one is human. Every one makes mistakes. Steve Francis went to the super bowl party and the organization brought his **bleep** back..

Imho i think if he is traded the organization is going to regret it. Why lets see. They trade him and everything goes great. Cool. They trade him for someone who somehow doesn't fit and look. Wasted a huge chunk of expiring that goes to another team. All in all why would they risk trading him when they have only 2-3 months left of his services.

We are struggling now. I saw if we continue to struggle why not say f it and let him play so he can earn a contract. No need for the organization do what they are doing and have other potential free agent targets look at what the organization is doing and think twice about signing with the Rockets.

I have no idea what really went on between TMac and DM/RA. I don't think any of us is privy to the actual negotiation. As a Rocket fan, I am disappointed that he did not play this season. He used to be such a fun player to watch.

.... the rockets aren't obligated to help their players 'get a new contract.'

Get a reality check. You're comparing Steve going to a super bowl to Tracy quitting on his team. It's the second time he's done this. He's a bum.

Whatever Tracy McLady! The Rox figured out what you were all about and they arent playing you. The chemistry wasnt working with this style offense and you dont play defense. We should trade him to the Nets or Clippers if possible just for spite. I'm sick of this whiner, Morey getem out of here!

Derrick Chievous does not approve of this post. Nowhere in your incoherent rambling was there anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this bbs in now dumber from having read this. I award you no points and my god have mercy on your soul.

After the deadline he will get complacent. He is in better shape and just wants to prove he is still worth another contract. The rockets know this and they wait for him to speak out. When they ask him what he wants, he says I just want to play and not a seven minute stint. The rox will agree if he shows commitment.

T mac is a cry baby,he want to do things his way or the highway.Teams will put up with it if your a franchise player but ,he isnt anymore.Thats his problem he is use to getting what he wants ,so the transition from getting everything he wants to not is gonna be hard for him. Plus dont blame the organisation all the times he quit on us he surely got a paycheck and still does so he needs to get a coke sit down and shut the f*@k up. ;)
