T-Mac just doesn't seem to think any of his moves through very well. He has an impulse and acts on it, and afterward finds out that he probably should've done things differently. The guy's made WELL over $100 million in his career -- you'd think he'd hire a career advisor at some point.
Yes I waited five years for him to get here, just so I could wait another five for him to leave. It makes perfect sense!

Recently signed guard/forward Trevor Ariza will wear jersey #1 with the Rockets. McGrady, who also wore the #3 in high school, will make the switch to bring attention to his “Darfur Dream Team” humanitarian project and the “3 Points” documentary that chronicles his journey to the refugee camps in Chad, Africa during the summer of 2007. McGrady says his visit to Chad was life changing and having the privilege to have freedom and peace in his life is something he will never take for granted. By wearing #3, he honors those who are forced to live without that freedom and peace. The “3 Points” documentary directed by Josh Rothstein is a reference to the goals of peace, protection and punishment with regards to the horrific atrocities suffered in the Darfur region of the Sudan. The documentary is scheduled for nationwide screenings beginning this fall. On Jan. 3, 2008, McGrady took part in a special assembly at his alma mater, Auburndale High School (Auburndale, FL), to announce his participation in the “Darfur Dream Team” humanitarian project. McGrady made a $75,000 donation that will be used to renovate and build a school in the Djabal Camp in Eastern Chad. As part of this program, McGrady named Auburndale High School as a sister school to the one being built in Chad. The money raised will also help train teachers, as well as provide a year’s worth of school materials, clothing and other essentials for students. McGrady’s new adidas #3 jerseys are not scheduled to be available at NBA licensed retail outlets until Sept. 15, but Rockets fans have the opportunity to purchase replica #3 jerseys, as well as replica Ariza #1 jerseys now through rocketsshop.com. All jerseys are provided through adidas – the official uniform and apparel provider for the NBA. Tracy McGrady Adult Home #3 Replica Jersey Tracy McGrady Adult Road #3 Replica Jersey
Maybe this is a sign that the Rockets are trying to keep McGrady. Whose buying the new #1 Trevor Ariza jersey. I am, but I'm also gonna keep my old Tracy McGrady jersey. ______________________________ "H-Town pride from the Southside!!!"
What's more annoying is the damn clip of Mcgrady missing dunk that he probably has bookmarked. He puts it in every thread with the word "Mcgrady" in it. I'd like to see him reach the damn rim on one leg.
Did he not destroy Thomas? He missed the damn dunk, give it a rest. I don't see people putting clips of Yao and Von getting rejected by the rim. I laughed at it when it happened, i'm sure some did many of the board but it's really not that big of a deal..
Applause to Tmac and his number changing McGrady to wear new No. 3 to promote Darfur effort Its sad how quickly people turn this into a joke regardless of Tmac's good intention. When Tmac took his tour to Africa back then, I thought it was a simply a spiritual thing, but it turns out to be something more. Basketball is just a game. We all enjoy it, but personally I think this is a time to stop being a fan and act like human being, and show a little bit supportive on the issue. It's one thing to be brainless and suggest those Gortat and Battier trades, but to be heartless is whole other level. The ancient land of Africa is slowly turning into a hellish place, most people chose to keep a blind eye on it. McGrady didn't. For that, I salute him. This Rockets team (for last passed six years) may not be the most successful playoff team, but from Yao to Deke, from Tmac to Shane, these are good people. As a matter of fact, there aint that many good people in this world, and a whole lot less in the NBA. So enjoy when you can
Compared to the guy who donated 18 million of his own after tax money to build a nonprofit hospital in a volatile region in Africa, not so much.
Wow, if only I knew that $23 million dollars allows one to defy the laws of physics! Imagine the possibilities: Spanoulis could actually be good with $23 million. If Obama had $23 million he could fly to the magical money tree and get the country out of debt. Miss Teen S. Carolina would actually be smart with $23 million. Michael Jackson could rise from the dead if he had $23 million. Is anything really possible with $23 million? Could Bratna even raise his IQ above 80? We can only hope!

The Rockets organization has been listening to all kind of offers for McGrady and we all think he will be gone soon one way or another by the trading deadline. So why should we buy a #3 McGrady jersey?
