Marbury's contract is one year shorter than Tmacs and ends after next season. I dont see why the Rockets would want to downgrade in talent just to get a year less of contract room.

Marbury is the one with the expiring contract, and Marbury's contract is similar to McGrady's, so this deal would be a salary dump mostly.

I can't see the rox actually WANTING Marbury. The only other assets they have that are intriguing in the slightest is their 1st rounders, Lee, the willingness to eat Mike James contract, and maybe Crawford(really haven't seen him play much this year though so maybe not).

actually, my bad. Like someone else mentioned in this thread, Marbury still has a contract for one more season after this one, making his contract one year shorter than TMac's.

 

I doubt we keep Marbury....maybe if we give them luther as well, we try him at sg, but i bet we buy him out...he's still serviceable for 15 minutes. He's just a cancer though so i would opt to buy his contract out so he can go play in euorpe like he says...loser.
