This guy just wanted a thread that got attention. The Rockets have said nothing about trading Tracy Mcgrady and all's they are worrying about right now is winning as many games as they can
Almu - I apologize for the tone of my post. I don't in any way doubt that you heard what you heard. What I was trying to point out was that you said, possibly a typo on your part, that McGrady's deal was the shorter of the two - essentially meaning the salary dump was on the Knicks' part whereas we were in it for Marbury's superior talent. I found that absurd.

Why would anyone want to trade for Marbury. Its not like he has proved himself over TMAC, they both play when the want to. Plus Marbury already said when his contract is up that he is heading over seas to play.. Would be the stupidest move ever by the Rockets to add another pg.. Well besides signing Kelvin Cato
If Marbury was smart, he would go join some other team when his contract is up. I WILL BE GLAD WHEN THE TRADE DEADLINE IS UP!!

The Rockets would be insane to give up an unprotected first round pick, unless they get something spectacular in return.
trade tracy mcgrady to knicks for marbury plus enough cash to buy out marbury's contract would be a nice move
it may be that you have a closer relationship with Almu, thus trusts him, than you do with other posters on this board, but i was really surprised that you allowed this thread to be opened with no link. i think it just screams "double standard" to a lot of folks and that's probably why he's getting bashed. i'll admit i haven't read all 16 pages, and i'm just assuming this is your first post in the thread. so maybe i missed a lot of stuff in between. anyhow, my first thought upon opening the thread was, "why the hell isn't this locked up?"
