Please change the title of the thread. The Rockets are not shopping McGrady. I think that's clear enough. All these trade rumors were started by sources outside Houston.

Ok, 5th season. That changes nothing.

Still only 1 playoff appearance which is what I said the first time.

You can find similar excuses for McGrady like the Vince excuse you use for Bosh. In fact, you can use the EXACT SAME EXCUSE for McGrady's early years in Toronto.

By the time McGrady was 23 years old and finishing his 5th season, he had been to the playoffs 3 times, twice as the leader of his team.

Don't compare Bosh to McGrady. Bosh is a good player but hasn't proven anything yet when it counts. He also has a far better team this season and last season than McGrady did up to that point in his career. Plus, last season's Eastern Conference was one of the worst in league history. You say he will flourish. I say that has yet to be seen. I assume you mean flourish by lead his team deep in the playoffs since anything else he has done statistically doesn't match McGrady's early career.

..... not hating on Bosh, just making the point that he hasn't proven anything yet in the postseason. He has actually done less than McGrady while playing on better teams than McGrady had played for by his 5th season.

When the Rockets play the Raptors, I root for the Rockets, too.

    Replace "impediment" with "benefit".

I like this deal! I hope they add in Thomas for Adelman and also hire MD Anderson to do some research on Rockets!

T-Mac for Marbury and a first round pick?

I don 't think that Morey would do this trade. If the Rockets wants to trade for a decent PG, they should trade for Kidd.

The only player I want from the Knicks would be Crawford, but I can 't see that happen.

By the way McGrady in a Knick uniform ...

Or how about actually reading what he wrote. NY can't trade their pick unless they can somehow convince Utah to let them.

Which makes any deal between the rockets and knicks that much more implausible.

So what? I'm sure almost every team in the league is interested in getting T-Mac in a crummy, lopsided deal. Doesn't mean the Rockets are considering it.

yeah if starbury contract expire this season, along with 1 st round drafts. i would make that trade.

then again, this iis pretty much rebuilding, and i doubt we would do it. beside there isn't any "real great" players in next draft.

I like trade with chicago better than knicks.

deng niconi plus wallace for tmac and hayes?

He is even worse than Mike James in that his freakin ego is so huge, that he is one of the most selfish players in NBA if not the most.

Yeah, let him play in Europe!!

Not that T-Mac will get dealt but I love the parallel here. One thread talks about dealing him to Chicago for useful pieces and another one talks about dealing him for freakin Marbury.
