She actually did you a favor. If you're overweight, then you saved 100+ calories by not having the fudge in there.

Don't know that I would have pushed it until she was in the verge of crying but you had every right to express your displeasure.

There are plenty of people who would love to have her job in this bad economy. If she cares so little about the job that she is willing to lie to customers, then get her fired. Make sure someone more needing gets that job.

I once ordered fried rice. It was delicious and had everything I had ordered it with. Then I found hair. Got it replaced, but at that point who would still have an appetite? It was one of those curly hairs too... so one can imagine.

Dude tried to resolve the issue with her. She lied to try to resolve it and it backfired on her. Replacing the McFlurry resolved the first issue. He resolved the issue of her lying by confronting her with it.

He deserved to get what he paid for.

Does McDonald's not have a way to pass experience comments about a location through their website? I would guess no because it would be overwhelmed. It's reasonable for you to get a freebie something out of it and the fact you didn't sums up how much McDonald's cares about your experience.

I drove thru my local Mexican fast food joint Rosas Cafe several weeks ago. I order chicken fajitas and they give me beef fajitas and no tortillas. So, made my comment on their feedback section of their website. That location actually sent me a $25 gift card. That is a place that cares about their customer experience.

I don't think McDonald's gives a crap about their poor service but I bet it just depends which location and manager. The manager you got doesn't seem like she cared to do anything about it. The proper response would have been for you to go back through the drive thru and throw your own dookie at the drive thru window yelling "unlike you I deliver on the fudge!".

I work in food service, and my manager would be on my ass for that, and rightfully so, report her.

Not b/c of the mistake, because she lied.

She's probably poor and struggling to make ends meet.

It was late and she may have been tired.

It's a damn McFlurry and poison for your body.

Her attitude is questionable, but how can you know for sure if she was lying? I don't know why she would lie...but I guess it happens.

I think you have reasons to get mad, but I've learned to let that stuff go. It's wasted energy...

    Move on, sir. :)

I'm conflictd about this. On the one hand, she misled you (maybe intentionally, but more likely she didn't know what to say and said the wrong thing since its obvious one can tell whether there's fudge or not). On the other hand, bro its a mcflurry. If one of my customers complained to me about this, I'd talk with the girl and not do anything else. If the guy wanted to get her fired, I'd call him a dick to my employees and tell everyone to not take his complaints seriously.

Here is the way I see it.

It's Saturday freaking night. You're fat. You're at the Mcdonalds drive through with your wife. To add to your fatness, you order some high fructose corn sugar mass produced dessert item and you expect it to be loaded with fake high fructose corn sugar "fudge". You actually take the time to look into the damn thing to make sure you got enough fudge instead of just drinking it like most fat people would have done. You don't see enough fudge to your liking and then complain about it. Then you get home, stay with me now, it's still Saturday Night, and call the manager of Mcdonald's who probably makes $9.25 an hour at most and complain to the point where she almost cries because your fat ass didn't get your fudge. And then you post about it on a basketball message forum ON A SATURDAY NIGHT.

This was your Saturday night bro. This was your Saturday night. smdh
