On cross country drives, particularly when I relocated to and from the High Plains multiple times, that was the only thing open a lot of times: either attached to or inside of a Pilot Flying J or whatever. The nuggets are rubber compared to Wendy's, but I'll take the fries every time; and Burger King staff is all deaf blind mutes, even though they were the last to close on any big blizzards. That's in contrast to the Burger King on Scott street at U of H, where the staff would run up and lock the entrance if they saw anyone walking up there after 9:30 on a Sunday, so I'd have to miss Off Centre with John Cho, or Fox 26 long news with Mike Barajasss.

McDonalds has proved people were suckers by selling anything other than their fries to them for decades.

McDonalds has been losing share for years as people make healthier choices. These marketing activities will boost sales for a bit, but ultimately can't stop the overwhelming trend. McDonalds has tried healthier choices, but no sane person is going to them for a salad.

Personally, I find it distasteful that a rap artist is encouraging people to eat this kind of food given we have an obesity epidemic. But that's their prerogative for the bling bling.

In the year 2020, tinman realizes that marketing actually works.

Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce will never hire this guy.

Houston is where Popeye’s did their test run for Chicken sandwich where people were in line for hours for .
Houston fast food scene is a good testing area for success and having the nations most popular rapper there means they did their research

Companies don't research that kind of stuff, they depend on their PR firms to make connections with various agents and see who might be interested, and then pull people in. It's a big song and dance routine.

Regardless, McDonalds doesn't have a marketing problem, it has a product problem.

A fish sandwich, milk shake, fries with ranch and one of those Russian babushka dolls with the last doll having a picture of Putin, Maduro and winnie the pooh all hugging.

Nike puts the travis scott logo on some Jordans and the shoes go from $160 to $1200+ on the resell market. Smart move by Micky Ds.

Astros hat by Tscott goes for $400 on resell. The guy is just so hot right now.
Which is why I wanted Scott to have his own Taco stand to replace Torchy's.

the new world we are living is easy to monetize .

For example, Fortnite is a free game but you can pay for costumes for a a buck or two.

suckers all over the place, take advantage of all of them.

Hell, put the word 'SUPREME' on a white t shirt and sell it for $100

I think you just wanted to have an excuse to post this picture again. I remember visiting my aunt as an 11 yr old and wandering off to where the workers slept. It was filled with bats and the smell was terrible. I was too naive to know how different classes lived, more concerned with other things like getting through Star Fox on the SNES. Now that I'm 38, I think damn, how does Batman just chill and eat in the Batcave(Michael keaton 1989) with hundreds of thousands of bats pooping near him. Crazy world.
