seattle's best is the worst coffee i have ever had. it's like they burn it once and then they burn it again just to make sure it is totally burnt.
We got a Starbucks here a few months ago, big woop, I hate the stuff. I may drink hot chocolate on a freezing cold day, but that is it. Coffee sux.
Starbucks is the worst coffee ive ever had, i dont knwo why people like that crap cause it aint coffee....go to italy or austria for a delicious cup of coffee!!! american coffee just plain out sucks to the competition.....and starbucks is evil anyways....
hehe...i know. i just said Seattle's Best Coffee RULES because I own a few SB coffee shops in downtown, Houston.
Has anyone been on that street corner in Vancouver where there's a giant Starbucks diagonally across from a regular sized Starbucks? There's a couple in Best in Show who talk about meeting each other when they first saw each other across the street in different Starbucks. It sounded like a good joke. Little did I know it was actually possible.
haha....You talking about Robson street? Their are literally a dozen Starbucks and a dozen Blendz in a two mile radius.
Yeah, that could be it! The name rings a bell, it's the one w/ all the shopping? Anyways, it was ridiculous when we took a bus tour of the city. There was literally at minimum one coffee shop on each side of each block.
Starbucks marketing philosophy is that they don't want people to have to do a u-turn to buy their coffee. So for it has worked because caniballism only takes place for a couple months and then business is back to normal.
I was talking with someone at a realty company that does business with Starbucks. In one case, Starbucks was going to replace an existing location with one built for drive-thru service. When they opened the new one, the lease on the old one wasn't due to expire for several months still. So, they ran them both and found that the new Starbucks had strong sales without hurting the sales of the original location across the street. So, they left them both open. A similar thing happened with a clothier, where they had opened two new locations within 2 miles of the original and thought the new locations would steal all the original store's business. But, they didn't; they just had additional customers. It was interesting to see in a place like Houston, which seems completely geared toward maximizing consumerism, there is more consumerism out there still to be tapped.
You haven't lived until you've had coffee at Little Known Coffee Shop that Only Raven Knows About. Lewis Black does a really funny bit on the two Starbucks straight across from each other.
Sure their are multiple Starbucks across each other in Houston, but trust me when I say it does not ever remotely compare to Robson in Vancouver. Yeah its the shopping district with a BILLION people walking outside.
Sorry but I love coffee and I say Mcdonalds even tho I hate Mcdonalds makes the best coffee I absolutly hate Starbucks coffee.. HATE, yet I love the taste of Mcdonalds.. So I find this report accurate
