    It wouldn't have been permitted either - that's why I doubt it actually happened. I'm trying to think of the last time a 1-3 draft pick didn't survive the first cutdown and I can't think of it ever occurring, much less in a long-gestational position like QB. That's why parsing the language of the report makes it even more dubious.

    They stated when they drafted him that he wasn't going to start this year. Unfortunately for them/him he has to against the steelers

    i like how he got up pretty fast though. im not sure but not every qb in the nfl would be able to get up from that.
