    It wouldn't have been permitted either - that's why I doubt it actually happened. I'm trying to think of the last time a 1-3 draft pick didn't survive the first cutdown and I can't think of it ever occurring, much less in a long-gestational position like QB. That's why parsing the language of the report makes it even more dubious.

    i like how he got up pretty fast though. im not sure but not every qb in the nfl would be able to get up from that.
