Fair enough, Otto. Unlike others here, I am the type to keep my debating civil and if I offended anyone with my remarks, I do apologize. I hope we can all seperate our difference of opinions and attain good discussions until November, and afterwards. Besides, Republicans are a bit outnumbered on this board
The only people I've heard this statement from are people that don't plan on voting for him anyway. I've never heard this from an Obama supporter. If that is the case, then that person is simply wrong. The only thing that I believe being said is that you should not consider voting for or against him based solely on his skin color. You don't want to vote for him? Fine with me...as long as you have a legitimate reason why.
WOW!!! That video is just devastating. How can any rational person watch that and still think McCain has any credibility about anything that comes out of his mouth?
He'll reverse any position to get elected. Really worse than Hillary on that, but he has the whole bogus "straight talk express" branding going, though it is looking sort of frayed. What's next? He will bring the troops home in 6 months?-- with total victory of course.
Things are stacked up against McCain. 1) the approval rating is not too great for the current Republican presidency. This alone will sway some voters to pay more attention to the Democrat candidate. 2) McCain has publicly admitted that economics is something he needs to educate himself on. With the current state of the economy, that remark probably pushed people on the fence over another candidate. 3) His indecisive speech. The people want a plan in today's situation. He's got to at least show he knows what he wants. The only thing he's got going for him is the war on terror. The military being his strong point, he might be able to offer a plan to the other big issue that is the war on terror.
man that video is damaging. i still respect him but i dont think he has much of a chance to begin with bc hes having trouble bringing the republican party together.
Ewww. I knew McCain isn't a good choice for president but this video makes him look absolutely terrible. Complete lack of confidence or competence. Why would anyone who cares for America's well being vote for this guy, especially after watching this video??
I rather see the entire conversations than clips cut from them. Taking words out of context is one of media's strong suite.
MSM is taking notice of the nightmare -- McCain's Web gap is showing The newsreel of McCain lowlights has zoomed up the YouTube charts in the last week, with more than 1.5 million views. “John McCain’s YouTube Problem Just Became a Nightmare” is the video's title, which might be dismissed as partisan hype but for one thing: It's true.
