You hear that everyone? Space Ghost doesn't think Obama ran a better campaign and displayed more apt leadership skills, no sir, John McCain took a dive. That's right. The head of a major party ticket knowingly and willingly flushed hundreds of millions of dollars down the toilet, blew off his last chance at becoming the most powerful man in the world, and let two precious years of his quickly fading vitality slip away... ON PURPOSE.

I think I'm officially bumping Space Ghost into the basso quadrant of apescat insane. Elite company you share my friend. Sit back, have a cigar and a vicodin martini... it's going to be a long four years.

Um.... Surely McCain will be too old in 2012. I mean, he was too old in 2008 right? Either way I hope the conservatives get them a solid candidate that is lucid and knows what the heck he/she is doing. And surrounds him/herself with folks of similar ilk.

But then, this is big business and commen sense never plays much of a part in that.

I think the GOP should run Joe the Plumber in 2012.

The best and brightest of the Republican party. --

Republicans Disinvite Palin From Major Fundraiser, Trash Her In Private

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is out, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is in as keynote speaker at a Republican dinner this spring.

Palin, the party's 2008 nominee for vice president, had been slated to address the annual Senate-House Dinner in Washington on June 8. The dinner, sponsored by the House and Senate Republican campaign committees, is one of the GOP's biggest fundraisers.

Palin will be replaced by Gingrich. Both are popular figures with the party's base.

Sarah Palin is the face of the GOP civil war and nothing more.

I know several people (mostly women) who are in love with Sarah Palin. I mean, t-shirts, bumper stickers, gushing at every chance possible...what is it excites people about her? The feeling that she's 'just like us' or something? After the election, my dad said excitedly, "Well, just wait. In four years it will be Obama versus Palin and she will dominate him!" Uh...okay.

If it's true that the Republicans on the inside are quietly trying to slowly phase her out of the spotlight, I don't understand the simultaneous Rush-obsession.
