That's more like it. I have seen a ton of stories about supposed violence and vandalism from Obama supporters but no evidence or even credible news reports to back them up.
Did you see the girl at the beginning calling Obama a monkey, and scratching her armpits like a monkey? That was just the start. You're totally looking over it.
He said he didn't watch it, which would mean you really shouldn't be posting or having an opinion about something that the thread was about that you refuse to watch. Right? DD
I've just skimmed this thread and I agree the video and a lot of stuff that I have heard coming from many McCain supporters is disturbing but Obama supporters aren't immune either from hyperbolic vitriol. I was listening to Jeanine Garafalo on the radio and she was saying it was a fact that McCain, Palin, Bush, Rove and etc.. are psychopaths. When a caller who was an Obama supporter called in to say that what she was saying was divisive she called him a liar since anyone who was actually supporting Obama would acknowledge that McCain and Palin are psychopaths. I'm not going to defend those people at CO McCain rally. That is clearly distressing and I hope McCain and Palin will remind their supporters more often to not debase themselves. Still in a heated campaign passions tend to run high on both sides. What's going to be more important isn't so much what is said now but what is said on Nov. 5th.
i doubt these people read newspapers and never lived in a big city to meet different people....nothing new here. and it's ironic that obama's plan would probably help them more than McCain's
The two are not equal. Garafalo calling them psychopaths and saying it's fact is one person and an isolated incident. It is not the stream of people we see shouting raceful things, and death threats at McCain/Palin/GOP rallies. Yes Garafalo was wrong, but it still isn't an equal footing where both sides are equally bad.
After the last 8 years, I don't want to see a single lib complaining about that video. The hate and venom emanating from the kook fringe has been steady. So don't be a hypocrite libs... You might think this is somehow worse b/c Obama is half black? If so, that's just absurd.
add the fact that an Obama supported called her out on it obama campaign: we support obama mccain campaign: we hate terrorist, socialist, communist obama only one campaign is based on hatred and lies?
Time and time again, McCain has called out his supporters for this type of behavior. There is a long thread here in the D&D on it. Look it up, then we look forward to your apology for your lie. Thanks
This makes me sick, and what is even worse is the kids taking after their dumb, unintelligent, racist mother****ing parents. Take this **** home Obama..............
which one? lady: "is obama arab" mccain: "no he is a descent man" maccain/palin start these stuff: obama is un-american, a socialist, a terrorist etc.. when was the last time you talked something good about mccain? its all lies/negative about obama.. i'm all for apologizing if you can prove that i lied.. but you have been proven to lie time and time again but never apologized..
The sad thing is that the McCain campaign isn't even really speaking out against these types of incidents. http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/10/10/1529529.aspx There was the campaign worker from the all religions can support McCain video, but then the McCain campaign shut him up, not allowing him to speak to the media about it. And outside of McCain telling the crazy old lady that she was wrong that's it. They incite it, and defend the kind of behavior. It is absolutely shameful. It would be different if McCain was out there trying to stop it, and calling it out all the time.
Because I know fox reputation, I wouldn't be surprised if Fox news paid some of their own supporters to do it, so they can get a news story. You basically have to investigate anything that comes on that channel theses days.
I love freedom of speech...... its provides the evidence to peoples intelligence. POW...... Prisoner of W
I was always open to vote for either party, but the last 2 elections I have become an anti republican. The G.O.P needs to start from scratch, the people and the platform as well.
I have seen some threads were you seem to get caught up with the bassos and Trader Georges fear monger.
That was bad what they were saying at the rally, but the ironic thing is they purposely blocked out what the Obama supporters were saying to them for obvious reasons................obviously there was some antagonizing from the people taping it from the Obama side in order to put that together..............that being said it was disgusting what they were saying and not needed in a USA presidential election. But make no mistake about, it goes both ways, and both sides can get ugly.................
I know Dakota doesn't always have the facts correct, but McCain has on numerous occasions denounced this type of behavior.............but then I guess admitting that causes his argument that all McCain supporters are evil, to be lost.
But not on a consistent basis, and not in a public manner....if he has, please by all means show it? Obama is out there talking about uniting our country, McCain is out there dividing it. Show me where McCain has denounced racism, or hatred. DD
Well he has said it several times now and you know it............heck I can even remember them showing a rally where he denounced it adamantly, and got booed. The bottom line is he has denounced it several times and if you choose to use selective hearing, there is not much that I can argue. Now to be completely fair, when horrible things have been said about McCain and Palin............I am not sure I have heard Obama denounce it......McCain even tried to get him to apologize at one of the debates to no avail. To be honest, you lose all credibility when you say that either candidate Barack or John, is trying to divide the country, that is absolutely ridiculous. They are both great Americans who have a different direction they want to take America---------but neither wants to divide the country, they both want the best for the country. Especially when you say it about McCain, someone who fought and gave his life for his country. That just shows complete bias, and I hate to say it, some ignorance on your part..............
