    That email just choked me up even before opening it, as well as passing on the info choked me up. Everyone close to me is safe. Not so for everyone close to them...and so on, and so on. I hope everyone close to you is safe.

    Uncle Stump (Mark's director on some projects) said he thinks Mark & Jo will be back in town today. They've been having trouble even calling NY. Doesn't he usually post from work though? I'm not sure if he has an internet connection at home. If he doesn't, I wouldn't expect a post anytime soon. Remember, he probably has lost some people that he knows in those buildings.

    I get choked up just opening emails, nowadays.
    Friends...friends of friends...past acquaintances...
    You never know when you will hear a bad story
    filling your heart with empathy for the closest friends
    and family.

    keep up the vigil; others are still lost.

    ...just horrible...
