I wish I knew what position they are playing T Will in practice. I know T Will wants to play point guard, but many of us here thought he might play small forward. Size wise, he fits best as a shooting guard. The fact that they brought back Ish to play point guard last night tells me that they view Ish as the player that will get Brooks minutes if he is traded. So, I wonder how they are using T Will in practice?
He may not be right but he isn't lying when he says Morey is all about business. The majority of big free agents are divas so it does have an effect.
Wins and losses don't matter. He wasn't the only person on the team. It was the NJ Nets not the NJ Terrence Williams!! He wasn't even the top player on that team. He was only a rookie. Get over yourselves!!!
The OP is trying to make a point and haters keep throwing wins and losses in his face like a rookie is going to save a sucky team.
I would be interested to know that as well. TWill is a player, similar to McGrady, where they like to have the ball on the high post and work off of picks to create for themselves or get open shots for others. If you pay attention to Adelman's system, he most likely is having trouble acclimating to the wing position where he would be curling off of picks and making back cuts to the basket. Twill needs the ball in his hands to be affective. Something Adelman and Morey knew ahead of time. Adelman knows that in order to use Terrence effectively he will have to adjust the way he runs his offense. Thats alot to ask of a veteran coach who has designed his offense to fit his personel since this summer.
As soon as I saw the title of the thread I knew it had to be about Twill. I can't stand the fact that Adelman refuses to play him, even though the Rockets are going nowhere this year. Rick needs to pull his stubborn, ZERO championship winning head out of his ass and give Williams some ****ing playing time. He has more upside than anyone on our roster, yet he rides the pine 24/7. I like Adelman, and I don't think there are many better options out there, but he's tripping. I mean, the guy plays Jordan Hill all the f-in time! And Hill blows BIGtime! GREAT thread!
Guys may be it's just that they don't his value to go up and other teams ask for him to be included... Let's wait and see. If he is as good as we think he is and he does not get traded = he will get playing time.
I couldn't agree with you more. It is flat out ridiculous. And for ANYONE who thinks its not personal, you're nuts. It's obviously personal.
Did it ever occur to anyone that having to "have the ball in your hands" to make things happen on the court is actually the mark of a below average player? Especially, someone that isn't a point guard. If he had the offensive prowess of someone like Nash (or hell even Iverson) that's one thing. But, the guys shooting % is in the 30's. The idea that we should scrap the fourth best offense in the NBA and just hand it over to TWill because he's made a few dazzling passes is pretty dumb. The problems with this team are on the defensive end. If TWill can't demonstrate that he can help us on that end he will continue to sit on the bench until he gets better. Its that simple. Putting up strong numbers on a terrible team is evidence of nothing. If the guy is as talented as everyone here thinks he is he'll get his chance.
I thought the same thing when I watched that documentary. That was Rick's first 3 years as a head coach, hopefully he learned from the mistake.

Either that or they are trying to point out that a lot of people put up big numbers in losing efforts on bad teams and that alone does not translate to being a star or even real star potential.
Adelman obviously. You have to have photos of this man in compromising position to get minutes as ayoung player. If you are a star? Dont cross him or you will be sitting in the fourth quarter.
You people are hilarious. If you're going to point to stats at least point to some advanced stats: http://www.basketball-reference.com...t=1.0&c6stat=&order_by=off_rtg&order_by_asc=Y Terrence Williams has been by far the worst offensive player in the NBA during his time in the league (among players who've gotten significant minutes).
The point of the thread presumably is that he should be playing over guys like Martin and AB. By this assumption the argument is that playing TWill will result in more wins for this team, right? Based on that argument how can we not bring up wins and losses.
